1. Our theories are wrong and this is their first battle, with another sequence as their final battle.

2. There are multiple, at the very least 2, scenes there. perhaps they fight there twice or Dillon takes Spidey "back to where it started" for their last battle.
You could very well be right. But I can't see them battling at Times Square twice. Could get a little boring. Idk

I looked it up and actually that episode that Vid mentioned wasn't written by O&K, but two writers named Cho and Cahill, and it said he could only manipulate electricity around him, while Electro seems to produce it internally.

Yeah. I couldn't see that either, though, I could see Electro "exploding" in times square and Spidey arriving to see Oscorp covering it up, then later, in the end, they actually battle there.

Just surprised, as it was pretty much spot on to Foxxs' description of the character along with the powers, etc... And then I saw it was written by Kurtzman and Orci and was like "come on..."

My point isn't that they're swiping/recycling their own work, it's that the "nobody loser" who gains powers (specifically, electrical powers) is SUCH a tired, worn out trope. It's fine for a television program or video game, but I expect more from a big budget, feature film. After the recent slew of dissapointing, uninspired action/adventure films, I really shouldn't be surprised though...

Exactly, so either way, they had some say in that story.

amazing spider-man end fight: about 4 minutes
iron man 2 drone fight culminating with whiplash death: about 4 minutes (although if you count the drones chasing tony it is much longer)
spider-man 1 parade scene: about 3 and a half minutes

obviously it all depends on how well the action is executed, but personally i hope for something at least 6 minutes long. (that's what she said)
About 3 or 4 minutes would be fine. The Avengers was all about action and that's what the film was basically about. I wouldn't want a huge overlong action sequence to a film that isn't just about action and velocity.

The Avengers also revolved around 6 different characters who all needed their own sequences and time to shine.

From Cinema Con:

Finishing out the presentation was a tease of what's to come in 2014, including a teaser for Marc Webb's The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Unfortunately, the teaser didn't contain any actual footage but, instead, revealed the logo amid shots of webs, similar to the first film's opening credits.

"Somehow no one seems to notice this grotesque blue figure..."

This is in line with Foxx' description of Electro as an outcast.

It would be cool that soon after getting his powers, he uncontrollably shakes due to all the energy stored inside of him.

It's like Superman is trying to get a peak at what the Avengers are doing while Batman is talking, and then Peter is looking through the window just hoping and wishing he could get invited to these events...poor guy, lol.

i think the scene is going to be like this , Max soon after his accident is taken to the hospital (explains one of the production pics) after he wakes up he relaizes he is blue and starts freaking out , security comes in the room to help him but they can´t touch him so they fall on the floor electrocuted, then Max takes his clothes and runs away from there, while trying to get to his apartment he starts to feel sick while he is in Times square , someone gets close to him and gets electrocuted too or a cop recognizes him from the hospital break out then police starts to arrive , accidentally while he was trying to kneel he shoots a lighting bolt to a car and it explotes(explaining the other set pic) then he tries to run away....and spidey comes in....
