Is this story in continuity?

Theoretically yes, but it obviously going to be undone in the end. The real question is what lingers as a result (such as various characters from Age of Apocalypse).

From Red Hulk's comments I feel like Pym and Ultron aren't going to merge. It seems like the heroes are going to travel back in time to prevent Pym from ever creating Ultron in the first place. Somehow taking the idea of him right out of Pym's mind.

If this story really kills off Wolverine, as is the speculation, it'll be so lame and out of the blue
not only is he barely involved at this point, but it's a out-of-continuity event with an avengers villain that not many X-fans are probably even reading

He's Pym's villain, and I hope Pym and Vision remain the focal points of the story

I've read all the issues of this, but I do not care about this story at all. It's been 5 issues and I feel like absolutely nothing has happened. The story could have picked up right here and it wouldn't have suffered much.

Great. Another "One More Day" disaster...

Quick question. I've been reading the series. When did ultron kill off Thor and the thing? I don't remember reading that anywhere

It's not been shown as far as I know. Just sometime prior to issue 1.

I think this event is fantastic. Not so much for the content, since I'm pretty indifferent to the story and nothing has wowed me or anything, but for the fact that it's a big selling event that hasn't derailed any of the comics that I read. This should be the standard for all events for now on.

AvX was the worst thing ever. I've made my peace with the story and have moved on, but during that event I started to hate all comics I got. I was reading almost exclusively X-men titles, plus the main event to follow everything, and versus. That just killed me. While Uncanny X-men managed to be great during the event, so many titles were derailed and drowned for four months.

For this event, I simply skipped the AU Fantastic Four issue, for example, and could still follow the series like nothing happened. I think buying tie-ins should be optional and shouldn't limit a series. I shouldn't be denied a title that I like because it's tied into a stupid story somewhere else.

I really don't think we should be praising Marvel for doing something they should've been doing all along anyway.

Even if you want to give AU credit for not sapping unnecessary money from our pockets, it's still an uninspired, boring event.

So was Wolverine's choice the right one? And what do you think about Sue being alright with it?

I'm very disappointed in how this series is turning out. Issues 1 and 2 had great potential, unfortunately now at issue six and the series is no further forward.

Typical Marvel, starts off with a sound plan and then fail to expand on the important details. The writers attention span must be very weak.

Wolverine's choice obviously going to backfire for him.

I don't think it was the right choice. If Wolverine is alright with killing for the greater food (which is something he was struggling with in X-Force) then its a slippery slope to becoming a villain. Alot of supervillains are about killing for the greater good.

I don't know what seperated Wolverine from Bishop after this issue besides popularity.

I haven't read the event. What was his choice?

Speaking of Wolverine, there is no way they kill him off without a big lead-in, especially right now, when there are three books with his name in the title, two of which just started.

Ultron has taken over the world and killed a bunch of heroes. The remaining heroes come up with a plan to travel into the future where Ultron is to stop him. Wolverine decides to travel to the past and murder hank pym before he accidently creates ulton because he thinks it will stop this ultron future from happening.

Spoiler!!! Click to Read!:
Wolverine slits his throat and sue storm watches

This event feels like an excuse for Bendis to kill off most marvels superheros in a Avengers style Age Of Apocalypse knowing that it won't stick.

The Wolverine thing also makes it pretty clear how old this event actually is.
Wolverine as he is currently would be very conflicted and would probably not make this decision, based on his current path in Aaron and Remender's books.

That, or Bendis is once again just ignoring all the other writers working on a character
I know, "no wayy"

I think Bendis wrote this event a couple years ago. Wolverine was rather blood thirsty in childrens crusade as well.

This thing could been resolved in five minutes if it takes place before AvX with Emma Frost going back in time and either mind wiping the idea of building a A.I robot or putting mental blocks stopping Pym from building robots.

I guess that would be less intresting than seeing Wolverine be an idiot and make things worst or just as bad by seeing him get his stab on with Pym.

I don't like how the heroes die in this so quickly without any thought. Especially this issue where Cap gets his head blown off. For such an important character 1/4 of a panel doesn't do it justice

Yeah, I started off REALLY into this book, but now I'm to a point that I'm questioning whether or not to even continue buying it. I don't feel like it's going to have any repercussions that I'll care about, and I just don't like the plot and where it's going. I figure I can maybe skim the rest, and if something important happens in the end then I can buy that and play catch up later.

I don't know, I'm still debating on it.
