That's because she was natural looking and not some made up model who had tons of plastic surgery and botox injected into her face.

Eh that's not the best explanation either. There are plenty of natural 21 year old's that look their age or look even younger. While Hoag is good looking she definitely looked much older than her age regardless of being natural or not.

I agree she looked way older IMO than 20/21, but was still very hot!

My theory though is that because I and maybe some of you were very very young...I was 5 when the movie came out or 5 at the end of 88 (whenever the movie came out, I don't feel like looking it up lol) she looked and appeared older because my concept of looks and age were very very different back then.

Even now when I watch this movie i perceive her to be older, although I am 29 and older than what she was in the film. Plus having her maturity and around all those other actors made her seem a lot older.

Either way she was hot.

So how old was the 2nd April in TMNT 2?

Edit: It was a movie and I'm sure she had tons of makeup on...it just looked natural. Still hot though....with her ginger snap self lol.

Looking older than her real age at the time probably helped her get the role when you look at the character's job and how she was written.

There is nothing wrong with looking older than your age. She looked fine in the film.

Lol I remember thinking the same thing. It was those big ass shoulder pads in her outfits. They dressed her like an older woman. But then it was the early 90's.

After watching Evil Dead, I could really see Jane Levy as April too bad we didn't get her.

Both Judith Hoag and Paige Turco looked like women in their 20s. You cannot pin down exact age just by looks, anyway. I've often seen people who I thought were way older or younger. It's really impossible to tell most of the time.

Dude is those women definitely looked and acted older than women in their 20s. I agree you can't always tell someone's age by their looks. However, those chicks looked and acted older. Those females did not look 20s. Early 30s yes, 20s not at all.

Oh well this topic has has been beaten to death...new topic.....What if April isn't a journalist, but rather an astronaut or something. How would you all feel about that?

I don't know... right now the thought of them changing everything up is sad to me. But if at the end of the day if the relationships are there and the turtles keep their personalities and kick lots of ass and there is a Shredder and foot clan I'm good. April being a journalist or a reporter never held to much weight with me anyway. She could be a librarian and it could be ok too.

April doesn't have to be a reporter anyway. It's not like that was her original profession. I would hope they go that direction though. I can't see Fox pulling off the tech savvy scientist type.

If only the movie were R-rated they could make April a stripper this time around.

I would be for that Raph shows up to the club after a hard day of fighting the foot and April offers him a lap dance. As she is twerking and p**** popping on a hand stand in front of him she grinds down and gets poked by something long and hard. Raph's sai sticks her in the butt and she knocks his brown hat off only to discover that he is a turtle. He takes off running and after he exists the back door to the alley he realizes he forgot something. He looks around and evens asks the stripper/prostitute that is giving some patron a bl** job if by chance she saw a long shiny knife thing. April walks back to the dressing room and realizes that the hard long poky thing is stuck in her butt. She pulls it out, not knowing what it is....it's Raph's sai. Then we roll the title credits...."Prepubescent Alien Turtles"

Lmfao!! literally laughed out loud. Ralph was the first turtle to pop in my head too when I read symbol guy's April should be a stripper comment. That would be perfect for her.
