Oh man. That's a really good idea. I was just watching him in a movie the other day thinking how great of an actor he is, he's an even better villain actor. Not to mention that sinister voice of his. He would KILL as Doom. KILL. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Sewell as Victor and Crudup as Reed are my dream. Last edited by ThePowerCosmic; 04-09-2013 at 01:04 PM. |

Plus we should NEVER see Doom's face after he puts on the mask, its the whole reason he wears it

I think we should never see Doom's face, period. For flashback scenes, which should be kept brief IMO, give us angles that obscure his face.

If he has the mask on for the majority of the film, which he should...what does it matter? I would like a good character actor with an ability to do solid accents...I could careless if it is a known name or not...

i haven't seen anyone cast an actual romani actor, yet. Victor's a "gypsy."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Romani_people The Romani are an ethnic group living mostly in Europe, who have been traced genetically to a group migrating from the northwestern Indian Subcontinent about 1,500 years ago. Romani are widely known in the English-speaking world by the exonym "Gypsies" http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...9/Romungro.jpg |

Jamie Foxx doesn't look like Electro. and the FF are a lot younger in the Ultimate Universe.

And I'd rather Doom this time actually have a distinct Eastern-European accent this time compared to McMahon's lacklustre attempt at the role. But this is Fox we're talking about - Moira MacTaggert not being actually Scottish and Peter in favour of Piotr as Colossus while not being RUSSIAN!!!!!!

And that does not mean they will be that young in the movie. At least Foxx is of age, and in his electric form will look just like Ultimate Electro. ![]() I do not buy this kid being the revered Doctor Victor Von Doom. Can't get over his age. With a title like that, one should be of a certain age imo. |

I like Fehr. He has the looks and age down. He has that "gypsy" look too.

It's gotta be someone like Gary Oldman (but not him) who would do something crazy just to push his acting and experiment like doing a live action film as just a voice from a metal suit and do it legit and frightening/artistically.
