I suppose it depends on quality ... but based on recent superhero films.
The Avengers (seen three times) The Dark Knight Rises (seen three times) Amazing Spider-Man (seen three times ... yes, that seems absurd) Iron Man 3 (seen twice) SO, I'd say probably 3 or 4 times. In the case of Spider-Man/Avengers/Iron Man ... I usually see it at least once in 3D ... and then 2D. No IMAX near me. ![]() BTW, the most times I've seen a film in theaters was Return of the King ... I think I saw that 7 times ... then probably Revenge of the Sith & Dark Knight with around 5 times, but in general, if it's a big action/superhero film, I'll probably see it at least twice. definitely depends. I'm always willing to see a good movie more than once. Especially a summer blockbuster (because 2.5 hours and larger budgets often seem more worth my money). But it all depends on if the movie satisfies me. I saw Avengers and The Dark Knight 6 times each in theaters. Amazing Spider-Man, 4 times.
On the other hand, I saw IM3 once and don't plan on going again. So we'll see. ![]() Lets just say I hope its worth seeing 9 times.

If I end up loving it - 3 times - once on opening night, once in imax the following week, and then another time before it leaves theaters. (3 times for one movie would be my record)
If I end up not liking it I'll just see it the one time obviously. |

At least twice. If it's great, I don't have a limit.

Superman Returns still holds my personal record for most watched movie of all time. I saw it 4 times in theaters (then many, many, many more times afterwards). Unless this movie is as bad as Green Lantern, it's my personal mission to break that record, inflation and piracy laws be damned!!!

Once, and that is a maybe, I don't like watching films in theaters, but for Superman I'm willing to make an exception

Never watched a film in the theatres more than once. This might very well be the first, if the movie quality matches the promise shown from the trailers and tv spots.

I think it's good to go at least twice because there's stuff you might miss or fail to pick up on in a first viewing. I guess it depends on your attention span though.

I'll be in London when it premieres and since it's my only chance of seeing it in IMAX, I'll be watching it twice. I'm also going to watch it once in a regular cinema as well. Then, I'll see it again one week later with my brother and some friends when it opens here in Greece and possibly once more with my father if he wants to.
So that's at least 4 with the possibility of a 5th time. I know it's a lot and I should wait to see if it's good, first, but I haven't been disappointed with any of the footage so far. |

Avengers was the closest I came to going back because it was just so much fun. Still didn't though. Dvd is pretty well used though ![]()

I've never seen a movie more than twice in the cinema... but this is different.
I'll be seeing it in London in IMAX 3D Friday morning, then again on a normal screen friday night once I arrive back on the coach. I will probably see it twice more on saturday, and again on sunday. From then on I think it'll be once a day, on the way home from work, until I feel like I can go a day without watching it. I don't know how long that'll be or if my money will last that long ![]() There are several people who will be coming to see it with me over the course of the first few weeks as well ![]()

Avengers was the first movie I saw twice in a theater.
Then I shattered that record and saw The Dark Knight Rises 10 times. Based on that third trailer, I'll see Man of Steel at least 3 times, this time I just may stick to 1 theater.

I saw SR five times. If MOS is even a little better than that, I have to see it at least that many times, right?

Tssssss... don't know. It's hard enough to get my moron friends to watch these movies ONCE... they're into soccer and crap like that more than they're into movies. The time is long gone when I could go watch Titanic or Harry Potter 1 multiple times in the theater and not feel embarassed to be seen alone.
Once with those idiots, twice with my family, and maybe, if I can convince someone to come join me for a last viewing, three.

I've never seen a movie more than two times in theaters. If Man of Steel is awesome I probably still will only see it twice.
The only Superhero movies I've seen twice are TDK, Captain America and X-Men: First Class. If I had money in 2002 I would have seen Spider-Man at least 5 times. |
