^Yeah, I can understand drawing a character off here and there (although 'off' doesn't do that justice) in a few frames
But wasn't that pic either a Cover or a Trading card or somethin'?

Who at Marvel looked at that and was like "F***in' perfect, Rob... Send it to the printers!"

oh don't get me wrong, I'm not defending Liefield
but that drawing must've passed through at least 3 other hands at Marvel before it even got printed, so how did no one stop it?
Hell, Even the inker should've said "I refuse to trace that monstrosity"

...Winter Soldier 0.o? I mean they are destroying presumably innocent police officer's vehicle's after all.

But don't they blow up the SUV that Fury is supposed in as well? That's where I'm getting confused. If it's just cop/SWAT cars that are getting blown up, then yeah, I'd say it's someone loyal to Fury coming to his rescue.

My guess is a CGI Quinjet, with Widow at the controls. Could be part of that concept art we saw a coupla months ago.

I'd suspect he has but only on the LA soundstages so far.

If the aerial bridge shots in DC, and the concept art of Cap vs Bucky on a bridge are any indication, I'd safely assume we'll be seeing some sort of Cap vs WS interaction on a bridge in Cleveland get filmed soon.

I'm kind of bummed that Zola's going to be in something other than flashbacks.

You've got Bucky, HYDRA, and now Zola.

For a man who is out of time, there's a lot of stuff coming back from Cap's first movie.

I see your point of view, but I think that's exactly what they're going for. They've hinted at themes of "ghosts from Cap's past" coming back to haunt him and that tying into his trouble adjusting to modern times. They seem to know what they're doing, and if they've found something strong, the return of Cap's past can enhance his out-of-time issues in this, rather than diminish them.

Is it too much to hope then, that Peggy is back in the present too?

How could they not have ghosts from his past come back to haunt? It's great storytelling.

Probably, but I loved Hayley Atwell so I wouldn't mind a bit either way haha

Yeah I agree. Some people thought they were blowing their load too early with Winter Soldier but there's really a lot of potential in combining the two.

They have Bucky, the Winter Soldier. That's a lot of ghost.

Using HYDRA and Zola seems kind of lazy.

I just wanted some of the old, but plenty of new, seeing as its a new era and all.

"Defeat time" is such an odd way to describe it, though. Maybe something else is going on? Maybe he figures out how to stop Bucky's aging?

I know, I'm grasping, I just really am not fond of roboZola.

I thought Zola was a great character in CATFA and I'm glad he's still around in present day in the MCU. This guy was doing stuff in the 40's with the Tesseract that Howard Stark and SHIELD weren't able to replicate even after working on it many decades later. Intellect like that deserves to survive.

I'm actually surprised there isn't a Zola thread already. Since I'm still relatively new to comics, I really haven't seen very much Zola, but what I have seen... well it seems like it might need some... re-imagining to bring it to the big screen.

So I googled a bit, and found what seems to be some interesting concept art for a video game:

I agree. We also have to keep in mind that Cap was frozen this whole time.

Hydra
, Presumably Zola, and Bucky(some what) have had plenty of time on their hands to adjust to the modern world. Cap is a man out of time. His foes are not, they may be from his time, but they're not experiencing this world and having to adjust the way he is.

Although that does bring up an interesting speculation oh how they'll treat Bucky's eventual de-brainwash. He'll have even more problems with dealing then Cap. In fact as much as I like hero winter soldier, I'd almost prefer that he die at the end of CA:TWS.

If they do de-brainwash him, my speculation is that SHIELD may still have Loki's scepter lying around. Otherwise...

...I've considered that option as well. After a heroic sacrifice, of course!
