@baby: It's clear from First Class that Singer and Vaughn chose to retcon Xavier and Magneto creating Cerebro, as I already mentioned.

Not necessarily. The early Cerebro prototype in First Class was destroyed during the siege on the CIA base, so they can certainly show, or mention in passing, Erik and Charles building the new one.

^ I could be wrong, but didn't Hank build or try to build a version of the prototype at the mansion?

No but as I have mentioned many times befre a way out of the problem Is to mention that Magneto helped Xavier rebuild a early version of cerebro at mansion offscreen
before going to Cuba.

ok I agree, but it would be cool, if in some point of this movie (beginning I supose) Xavier and Erik are still meeting each other and Erick helps him building cerebro in mansion, once it was only in C I A at first class... but I agree maybe thats too much and the movie has other important things...

That would distort the timeframe, as the showdown in Cuba was spread over hours, if barely a day or two. Constructing something as large as Cerebro would eat up the time, and prevent them from throwing Banshee out of windows.

and in that magneto's pic I think Charles wasn't near by, if so Erik would wear the helmet... and not because they are still meeting each other like friends...

They built Cerebro some time between 1962 and 1973. Done and done.

Okay; I hereby retract my retcon statement.

Having done that, though, I offer up the following thought: it's not inconceivable that Charles and Erik could have repaired their relationship long enough for Erik to help build a new Cerebro and go with Charles to recruit Jean.

I'm not sure if they should show the Cerebro in 1973 unless, its part of the time-travel process.

oh speculations... I'm realy excited about their relationship! I mean when they encounter if Erick is whithout the helmet Charles can read his mind and discover his plan, or simple paralise him!
