The Dark Knight and the Man of Steel wore a black dress shirt and a pair of pre wash denims during their TV appearance.

I know practically everybody sports that combo at some point but it's still cute.

The only major problem with that scene is Superman hardly damaged Zod... he hit him over and over and over but hardly any scratches on Zod's helmet... it's like wtf... then Supes gets tired out as he falls to the ground

They've seriously weakened Supes in this one... He couldn't even break Zod's helmet after repeatedly hitting it over and over? wtf

Here is what Jett said on his Facebook that Mark Hughes of Forbes said: "Mark Hughes here -- I think JL is in the cards now, and that Snyder will be offered the job. He'll insist on making MOS 2 first, as part of the deal, and WB will readily agree. So MOS 2 will probably come next, along with an announcement of del Toro's "JL Dark" and perhaps another solo superhero film being "in development." Meanwhile, Batman will get rebooted in a few years, too. So the layout will be:
1. MOS 2
2. "JL Dark"
3. Batman reboot &/or WF (maybe Bats gets rebooted in WF?)
4. JL film

Mixed in there somewhere we *might* get announcements of some other solo character film being in development (I bet we get this as part of the broader announcements we hear in the coming months). I suspect any additional solo character films will involve the Flash or Wonder Woman, probably the former.

Fans shouldn't expect -- or want, IMO -- too many cheesy cameos in the solo films as tie-in material. I don't want them tossing in cameos like the Marvel films, because that doesn't fit the feel and style of the DC movies. Marvel's universe has always been bigger and shared, and that stuff comes more naturally and is fun. But DC characters in their solo stories work better without that stuff, and it should be kept to a minimum when it's in the solo films."

Bale and Cavill wearing the same clothing means we'll see WF soon

It looked like he may have been punching the plasma shield of the helmet (which is pretty much the entire helmet). And afterward it starts to malfunction.

Important question for those that saw this...

Do I give in and buy the midnight ticket experience in IMAX 3-D? or Simply the regular?

I must know if this film is worth watching in IMAX 3-D...Its def worth it in IMAX, but I dont want the 3-D to takeaway from the film...I know Snyder didnt film in 3-D/IMAX but post converted

I'm still torn between what I want my first viewing to be. I do enjoy 3D but this movie was converted, right? It might be garbage and too much if I do IMAX 3D and it takes me out of the movie.

I saw the new Star Trek movie in 3D IMAX and I saw trailer 3 in 3D and let me tell you that it was absolutely breathtaking. The depth is spectacular!

Random thoughts:

It's interesting that Deborah Snyder says that pacing was their main issue with the original edit. It seems for quite a few from the prescreenings this was still a problem. I do wonder though since they say the first half drags, is because of the age old 'problem' with origin stories being they don't feature the title character (in full costume) until halfway through.

Also is the Kord building a reference to Blue Beetle? Interesting that combined with the Blaze Comics logo, the two outside DCU references in the film other than Batman and Lex are to Booster Gold and Blue Beetle ha.

Batman's late arrival was one of the few common complaints about BB back in the day (that, and the choppy, confusing fight scenes).

And Katie Holmes, and microwave emitter device, and some Goyer dialogue. Everyone really puts BB on a pedestal even more today though (which it rightfully deserves), but unless these pacing problems really are bad, I don't see how MOS won't be better.
