Downey was a prolific name pre-Iron Man, but he was not a huge star nor was he a big box office draw.
He is definitely a big star and a A-lister now. But for a stretch of about 10 years he was more of a punchline and infamous for his drug problems and arrests. He's probably the biggest box office star on the planet right now.

Um not sure I missed Indesructible Hulk 6 & 7 so I'm not really sure they fought or not.
I'm just aware Phil Coulson makes an Appearance in Hulk 8 ![]() |

I wish I could have Sub'd to more comics, but all I did was GotG and Thor, Thanos Rising, Age of Ultron...I can't afford anymore....btw, what do you think of the new Thor comics? I LOVE them. I don't know how they've been received, because I don't care. For a little while, I feel like Thor has been getting kind of screwed by marvel writers, not just his powers and fights, but his character hasn't felt like the thor I grew up to love in a long time.
So with the New God of Thunder comics, to me, it is starting to feel like "Thor" again, he's reminding me of how Simonson wrote him, love it love it love it

I love Thor God Of Thunder.
The adventures of Sif in Journey Into Mystery has been fun. Hank Pym story in Age Of Ultron 10:AI was good.

I started getting it when I heard that God of Thunder was currently the comic that was the most praised internally at Marvel. |

I'm glad Journey into Mystery is being left to the rest of the Asgardians and God of Thunder just Thor. |

But, for one, his dialogue, I can't think of specifics, but for a while, it seemed like he was speaking less like the "god of thunder" and more like...as an american/person, just he was using words I've never seen thor use, words you and I would use in casual conversation, for a bit he would say no, instead of nay. His whole attitude, of literally ALWAYS putting himself second for the greater good, willing to sacrifice himself. The arrogance is back, to an extent. That's the best I can describe without really thinking on it, as I am about to head out, but it just FEELS like thor again, the feel. Which is hard to explain in words. Zeppelin's drummer, John Bonham, in my mind is the best ever, there were a lot of things about him that made him great specifically, but the most significant was his feel. The way he played the drums, his feel. you can't explain it, but it's his FEEL and it's incredible, and it can't be duplicated. So i have a hard time explaining it, it just FEELS like thor again. I don't know if you are implying that you haven't picked it up yet, but if not, I highly suggest you do. I love it

I don't know why but my anticipation for this film has really waned. I'm really worried with all the disagreements surrounding the film. Not mention if Taylor wanted a longer movie it was probably for a good reason.

I am not worried per se, but I do feel that a THOR film would need a good long run time. Thor is more than just the character. There is his non mortal supporting cast, the Nine Realms, lots of Asgard, his Father/Son stuff with Odin, Loki... This all needs some screen time along with the relationship with Foster and whatever the main plot is. |

I don't get why Marvel doesn't do directors cuts for their DVD/Blu-Rays. They know there would be a market for extended cuts of the movies amongst the fanbase.

It's exciting to know that as soon as new information starts to trickle in it's going to lead to a flood of promotional goodies that won't stop over the next 4 months. Not long now!

There does seem to be a lack of information about this movie, and we're not all that far from release... That's probably for the best though, makes for a bigger surprise.

Okay so I've gotten a lot of slack on this page, but come on people, we are 3 months and a couple of weeks away from this movie, and we barely have a trailer, and a couple hi res pictures. This is promotion at it's worst. We literally get more info on spiderman, and Avengers 2, then we get on a movie that is about to come out very soon. We should have three solid trailers by now, with all kinds of pictures, and posters...we should be Thor sick. Even when I google Thor 2, I get the same stuff from five or six months ago. This movie is getting railroaded by Marvel, and I'm starting to fear the worst. The actors/actresses don't even seem to be talking about the movie that much. Iron Man 3 was allllllll over the place before the movie dropped, and I honestly feel it's the most over hype movie this year, next to superman, which had so many plot holes, it looked like our ozone layer on film(I need more then nice CGI, and explosions). I just want an epic Thor movie, and if this movie was epic, I feel Marvel would be doing more to boost the prerelease sales. I want this movie to compete with the box office scores of all the other big summer releases, and the average person doesn't even know this movie is coming out in three months.

I can't say we know more about TA2 and TASM2 either. TA2 doesn't even have a confirmed villain, for example. There's no need to really go hard in marketing a movie for this long so it's time will come. Three trailers already is way too much imo, the teaser is more than enough at this stage. Disney is better at marketing than Marvel Studios is so it will likely be done significantly better than last time. I don't think you have to worry about that. |

IM3 had its first trailer in October which was 7 months from its release and one at March, 2 months away from release. looks like Marvel is following their plan as usual. plus there is SDCC coming out which should give us tons of info on all MCU movies and with IM3 blu ray having Thor 2 footage and stuff, can make sure that a second trailer might come out by late August/early September (2 months away from release). and TASM2 is at the same stage as when Thor TDW set pics started pouring in back in November. Back then IM3 was in the same drought situation where people where not talking about it and other MCU movie infos were coming out, so relax this movie will get its spotlight. It is 4 months out, wow. Come on Thor! More of that phase 2 goodness. I'm hoping for more MCU connectedness than Iron Man 3 provided.
