JL was dependant on MOS and its box office success. It's a huge hit which is why JL is a go.

July at comic-con, DC should be making an announcement about the future on film. So we'll know in less than a month.

But Batman could be rebooted before JL (2016 or 2017) or it could debut in JL which is the most likely scenario. 2017 or 2018.

Do you think we'll have a Bat-related announcement at comic-con?

It depends what you mean by satisfied. Nolan showed all that he could in a realistic landscape of his trilogy where Bruce was only lacking when it came to the League of Shadows.

In a reboot, they could go as far as this CSI-like aspect when Batman investigates.

I feel it should be world's finest next, maybe i didn't properly explain that screen time is evenly split, i just feel, personally, keeping Bale and Nolan as producer will only add to it. A new actor, unless it's spot on or radically different to Bale, could be risky.

I just hope they nail it whatever they do, as if one character flops, it will drag others down

I don't think there is any need to condescend in that way. We are fortunate that both the Burton movies and the Nolan entries have good scores, albeit different in styles.

No, it's true. I always forget that there is a good portion of folks out there who prefer the Burton Score, or would prefer Batman in spandex.

Ah, 'spandex'.

For all the thousands of times I have seen jibes against 'spandex', I have never once seen anyone call for its use.

I can see people preferring the Elfman score (I disagree but I can see why people would like it) to the Zimmer score but...the scores in BF and B&R were just bad with a few exceptions.

Superman The movie's soundtrack is iconic and known by almost everybody, Tim burton's Batman soundtrack is that big

I think we need more Batman on-screen time, as much as I liked the TDK trilogy. I could never accept the fact that he would go into hiding for 8 years. Batman spends his nights on patrol, doing what has to be done no matter what the public thinks of him.

Bruce Wayne's retirement wasn't because the public thinks he killed Harvey. It's because of his psyche. Plus, if he stuck around, he'd probably just cause more trouble for the GCPD. So, instead of cause trouble for the GCPD, he left. He allowed people to believe that Dent was incorruptible because, as said in the film, Bruce thinks Harvey is the hero Gotham needs. But, as Bruce sees in TDKR, Harvey's death didn't really help. If anything, it made it worse (I don't remember examples exactly but I remember Blake brings up something to do with the prisoners in one scene and it allowed them to lock Selina in a male prison, presumably because it had more security).

Then, after he hung up the cape and cowl, he decided to help the city as Bruce Wayne. So he worked on the reactor. But...then a paper was published on how to turn it into a bomb. So, Bruce shut it down. His entire life's work by this point is gone. He put so much stock into Batman and then had to give him up. Then, he went to help as Bruce Wayne, then that....bombed (PUNS!). So, he withdrew from the world. He had no purpose. There was no real person to Bruce Wayne, it was just an image Bruce used to try and help, but that didn't work.

So, it's not about what the public thought, it was about his broken psyche and not causing more work for Gordon and the GCPD.

Plus, I think you mean the costume. And I disagree. The interesting part of the character is the psyche, you don't need to be in costume for that.

Yes, you explained why he went into retirement, but it doesn't change the fact that Batman wasn't on screen for most of the time. And its not a fact that the interesting part of the character is the psyche, that is your opinion.

To me seeing Batman in action is just as important as his psyche. There's no need to take him out of the suit to show his psyche.

Nolan's trilogy was unique, groundbreaking, and brilliant, but I agree that in the next incarnation of Batman I'd like more focus on Batman.

I think it'd be interesting if Vicki Vale was introduced as a potential love in one movie, and through the rest of the movies still has a supporting role, being one of Gotham's star newscasters, but occasionally makes jabs at things fizzling out between her and Bruce.

All in all, I'd like to see more female supporting characters. And in flashbacks to Bruce's childhood (they're inevitable), could we please get a little more out of Martha Wayne?

Batman's costume and his Abilities should be focused they should make his fight scene more Intense like MOS .

Also I hate how they continuously joke about him being just powerless in the new 52 Justice league comics and given less importance .

Agreed on both counts.

Geoff Johns seems to like making Hal Jordan continually insult Batman. I hate it.

Hal Jordan has more magic rings than fans.

There must be a billion Green Lanterns in the universe, and Earth gets the unloveable ginger frat boy. If we ever get a JLA movie, let its GL be Kyle Rainer or John Stewart.

- Give the suit more grey. Only the cape, gloves, boots and the logo should be black.

- Go from crime/thriller to crime/mystery/detective

- Batmobile should be a cross of the Burton and Nolan vehicles, preferably closer to the Burton version. It needs to be much sleeker then the Nolan tank

- Minimal involvement of love interests for the first movie, similar to Man of Steel

- Sci-Fi fantasy villains (clayface, croc etc)

1. Joker perma-white and follow "The Killing Joke"-storyline.

2. A suit that is a mixture of black and gray. Time to ditch the all black look. I want something similiar to the "Arkham Asylum" games.

3. More detective work.

4. Bring in lesser widerly-known villians. Don't be afraid to have a mixture of dark, realistic, and fantastical all at once. ("Man of Steel" showed this.)

5. Have a Batmobile that looks like the comics-vehicle and stay close to the original source when it comes to introducing characters, plotlines, and arcs.

The thing I want most is for Bruce Wayne to be the mask & for Batman to be the real man. Most superheroes movies have the civilian be the real person (Superman, Spidey) or the superhero & civilian be one (Wolverine, basically all of the Avengers). So, I think it'd be interesting if Batman was the real person in the reboot series.

The second biggest thing I want is a heavy influence from the Arkham games. It's a perfect mix between staying faithful to the comics, but being a bit realistic at the same time.

The third one I want is to show that Batman is the world's greatest detective. But I assume everyone in here wants that
