That the awfulness of this and Wolverine possibly led to X-Men First class being so good.

The music by John Powell was the better of all 3 movies.

1. The post-credits scene with Xavier.
2. The Fantastic music score.
3. This movie is well-action packed.
4. We finally got to see a sentinel.
5. The twist before the credits roll with Magneto playing chess.

I don't think First Class was great, to be honest. As a stand-alone film? Sure, it was good. But when it was produced - and originally set to be directed - by the same guy that directed X-Men and X2? I don't think there's any need to disregard the continuity of those films. (Aye, I'm one of those saddos that does harp on about continuity.) I also didn't like that Havok being used either, to be honest. He wasn't central to the plot, so why changed an established character with clear comic ties to Cyclops?

I think the general premise of how Xavier and Magneto first came to be allies and the 'bond-esque' feel were fun, but I'd have preferred it if that was the focus on the movie - and it left out the whole 'first class' bit. (I'd rather have seeb a first class featuring Cyclops, Jean, Beast, and a couple others seeing as Iceman and Angel couldn't be used.)

As for The Last Stand? Beast looked pretty bad ass - much preferred Beast from TLS to FC - and Kelsey Grammer did a fine job. That's honestly the best thing I can say about it. It's a decent popcorn flick the same way XO:W is a decent popcorn flick, but I hold X-Men and X2 in higher regard, which makes TLS a bit of a let down.

Oh, and as a Scot I much preferred Scottish scientist Moira MacTaggert to boring CIA agent Moira MacTaggert.

He was definitely the best new character of the movie! He had the right amount of screentime/character development, Kelsey Grammar did a great job and he looked great!

I can accept the crappiness of a movie if effort is put into their fx and props.

Juggernaut's look was terrible! And Colossus didn't look so good compare to his appearance in X2.

THE BEAST was spot on!

You did not like the Juggernaut's make-up? Thought he looked pretty good, too!

The movie being under 2 hours was not a good thing especially with how big the movie is. It could have been way longer.

The movie was a god-awful abomination and a disgrace to both the first two films and the comics. However, some of the acting was good (Jackman, Stewart, Janssen, Grammer, McKellen, Page, etc). Their characters were written horribly, but they gave really good performances.

I thought it was very cheesey especially when Wolverine told them to hold a line.

Why were their only seven of them? It's not much of a "last stand" if your not really the one's in danger (Magneto wanted Leech). Also, there is an entire school full of students with powers, couldn't some of them have helped out in the battle (like Jubilee, or Siryn). They wouldn't need much characterizations since this was a last stand, all hands on deck.
