it was a filming location. Now... is the stadium a "stadium" in the film. that we do not know. They could have easily turned it into something else

Good find!

There's also this taking place tomorrow (July 11) according to the Québec Film and Television Council:

Quote:
The executive producer of X-Men in a conference at the annual meeting of members QFTC

Todd Hallowell, executive producer of X-Men: Days of Future Past currently filming in Montreal, this year will be the guest of honor at the annual General Assembly of the Office of Film and Television (QFTC), which will be held July 11, 2013 at 15h at the Grande Bibliothèque.

Mr. Hallowell began his prolific film career in Hollywood as an assistant art director in the late 70s. The film Parenthood, for which he was artistic director, marked the beginning of a fruitful collaboration over a dozen films with director Ron Howard. As executive producer and second unit director, he worked on Apollo 13, for which he won a PGA Award, A Beautiful Mind, which won four Oscars, Cinderella Man and The Da Vinci Code. His latest project, Rush (directed by Ron Howard), hit theaters in 2013.

Todd Hallowell will discuss the participants in the General Assembly QFTC the highlights of his career and the reasons for choosing Quebec for filming X-Men: Days of Future Past, which will last until the end of the summer.

No DOFP news, but if a recent Latino Review article is right, its related:

- X-FORCE movie in the works. Site registered!

http://x-menfilms.com/2013/07/11/xfo...-in-the-works/

Mark Millar has been working, it seems . Good news if true. I see a future crossover again, after DOFP. But this time, with Cable involved

If true then **** yeah!

Can't wait for some Cable, Deadpool and Domino. I have a feeling Betsy could be involved here given her being the lead female on UXF for 3 years and not being in any other X Flicks. This is awesome.

If they have another X-Men flick and follow with an AOA Crossover....that's gonna be friggen epic!

Great I'd be happy if they did make this film, plus I wonder if this is how they introduce deadpool

Wouldn't surprise me if the next film is x-force then after that is the crossover, that's if a crossover happens at all

Then again will they throw in wolverine in to x-force? I wouldn't put it past FOX

I easily see a Wolverine cameo. It would be a smart move.

But more than that.... highly doubt it. I dont see Hugh accepting to appear on a new team movie, appart from original cast and Bryan Singer. Specially if Fox and Singer have another sequel with original cast planned.

If it's based on Uncanny X-force it would be worth it. That storylines awesome. Would actually give a legit reason for him to have the mask as well. But yeah, I think it should be probably be a Cable led team.

I agree it should be a Cable led team, not Wolverine eventhough IMO the Uncanny XForce arc was better and would love to see Psylocke done justice.

Count me in. The sort of Weapons X of the future. But I see this more as a spinoff then X-Men sequel. It might be time to abandon the FF franchise and make some gritty spinoffs to fill the gaps between major X-Men tentpoles.

To be fair there has nothing even hinted at that fox and singer plan another sequel with the OT, not saying it won't happen but as of now an X-force is the nearest we heard about anything, even rumour wise

I wouldn't put it past fox to pay jackman to join X-force for one film, even if is an extended cameo they can throw into the trailer

Thats exactly what it would be, a spin-off

Its a movie expanding the universe, with different characters of the main series (including X1-X3 and FC timeline).

And yeah, when we have all these possibilities, its not like we need Fantastic Four at all.

Fox has an impressive rosters of characters introduced in the X-Men movie univese right now, so they could easily expand their roles adding a few new faces, like Cable and Domino, for this right spin-off.

And they could even appear one day on a main team sequel. That would be a great crossover. Cable and Domino working with the x-men agaisnt Apocalypse, for example.

That would be really epic.

I'd rather they didn't bring wolverine into X-force but judging by FOX track record no mutant team will be taken seriously without wolverine appearing somewhere

It could be used as a way to separate him from the main team.

but do you think they would do a Team sequel without Wolverine?

seems highly unlikely.

Thats why it would be a nice move from Fox to do a spin-off without Wolverine. This way, characters like Cable, Bishop or Domino could shine.

I think they will want to give Cyclops the main spotlight next time around. But yeah, I agree. Like I said, Cable led is the way to go. But at the same time I've read real solid stories with Wolverine and X-Force that deal with some interesting themes , so honestly I'd have no problem if they did go that route....I'd understand the complaints though.

Id be really fine with a Wolverine cameo, or small role, as a mentor, or connecting X-Force with mean team somehow. Like Wolverine being awared of this team, and having contact with Cable. It would be cool, definelty.

But Wolverine as a main character on another team movie, oh god.... please no.

This is Fox's chance to finally develop other mutants, less known. A wolverine cameo would be enough for marketing.

Just use a smaller budget, hire great actors for Cable and Domino, more Ryan Reynolds, and they will have a pretty good cast and movie. Something fresh, and with some familiar faces and maybe one A-list actor for the villain.
