Love your first two. I hadn't thought of Rush but he would be great. Mila Kunis would actually work as Catwoman but I'm not sure how soon they should use her again (same with Dent/Two Face).

For the 1st movie. Minus the villains...

Jim Gordon - Bryan Cranston

Alfred Pennyworth - Timothy Dalton or John Hurt

Leslie Thompkins - Helen Mirren

Harvey Bullock - Dean Norris or Michael Madsen

How many different casting threads do we need? Isn't "The Batman Reboot Casting Thread - Part X" enough?

I love Mila Kunis but can she pull off Selina? Not sure about that.

John Hurt as Alfred, excellent choice I say.

I like Mila, but after seeing her do the Wicked Witch of the West? Not feeling it.

Cranston is an obvious. Rush is also a good choice, though his take, I imagine, would be quite similar to how Caine played it. That is why I like more creative choices like Pierce Brosnan, for example.

Cranston for Gordon and Hurt/Brosnan/Dalton for Alfred are my picks.

But for the out of the box thinking, in the way that the villainous Gary Oldman was cast as Commissioner Gordon...

I think Malcolm McDowell or Alan Rickman could pull off Alfred. Like Oldman, theyre known or typecast as the evil character for most of their careers. But also like Oldman they are fantastic actors who im sure can toss out the "cold" and act warmer for the role. And please people don't tell me they cant do it.

They have that sarcasm and wit anyway. So if any of those 5 actors are cast for Alfred, im a happy man.

Wow I actually like the idea of Mila Kunis playing Catwoman, I think she could pull that off so much better than she could the wicked witch.

Everyone seems to want Cranston for Gordon, but I'd love to see him as Mr Freeze. I also saw in another thread Hugh Laurie suggested as Alfred. I actually really dug that idea.

I think Chris Cooper as Commissioner Gordon would be great.

She can't do catwoman. She doesn't know how to act sexy. In all her movies she never looks comfortable except maybe that 70s show 10 years ago. She can act like the good looking chick who is one of the guys but catwoman no

Heath Ledger created such an iconic portrayal of the Joker if Warners intends on continuing with Nolan's continuity the actor I think could do a pitch perfect performance as the Joker would be Tom Hiddleston. He is well known for his capable mimicry of other people and the Joker is a role that requires heavy makeup that would prevent people from seeing him as Loki with green hair. In short I believe that Tom could convincingly melt into playing Heath Ledger's Joker so perfectly that you wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

I have a feeling they are going to have Dick Grayson as Nightwing..not Robin..Nightwing would work better in the big screen

I don't think the Robin Costume could work on the big screen..unless it's the Arkham City Design but i highly doubt they will go with that, i would like to see Dick as a Crime Fighter Separate from Batman but they have to team up in order to stop something neither of them can stop along..that is how i would do Dick in the Batman Reboot..

Which one? These are the only (Red) Robin suits that were used in main continuity for extended times.

(1940-1988)
(1989-2005)
(2005-2009)
(2011-)
(2011-)
(2011-)
(2009-2013)

Why? Why can't they create their own suit like what was done for Superman, Batman, the Arkhamverse etc?

I want Dick as Nightwing too. But that by no means means no Robin.
