Does this pic work?

lol, they did. I liked the idea of the lenses, but the look left a lot to be desired. That pic works fine. You know, Daredevil never even came to my mind but they should definitely look at the way his lenses were done for inspiration.

I think this flatters to deceive. I haven't seen the film, but the stiff rubber (argh) material used looks like it wouldn't move well, and would probably fold awkwardly. This also hasn't solved the problem of the stiff (argh) neck, which has been a problem since 1989. The gauntlets and boots resemble the videogame versions, and look appropriately awful.

I seem to remember pictures of the Catwoman costume from that film being preferable to that used in TDKR.

How well could Nite Owl move his neck in Watchmen? I finally want them to use a thin material, that allows him great neck movement, lets him pull the cowl back, and that essentially isn't a helmet anymore. I want the cowl to be as thin as Daredevil's mask.

The Nite-Owl cowl couldn't actually be pulled back, the cowl had two designs, an "up" design and a "down" design, which is why you never actually see it pulled down.

That live action Arkham suit doesn't look good, the cowl looks sooooo big and terrible.

It looks like Lego Batman and his giant bat head

I thought there was a scene where he did pull it down?

I would cut the sides of the cowl off so the actor can hear then CGI those bits in later or put vents on the side of the cowl. I even think the days of using black paint on the eyes needs to evolve to something different. Why not use prosthetic on the eyes for the cowl?. That with high tech glowing contacts(cgi) would look cool. Imagine batman investigating then his eyes glow red for thermal to detect heat signatures. Glow purple(blacklight) to detect small clues he could have missed, green for nightvision and white for detective vision much like in the arkham games. Hologram vision to allow batman to bring up a hologram map of a location or virtual hologram computer so bats can hack a locations security system.

I remember him pulling it back when Rorschach died and still had it back when leaving Ozy's place with Silk Spectre.

So, are most of you guys wanting to see the gray color scheme?

I prefer the black armor, but considering I've already gotten what I wanted...I'd be down for a grey body suit.

Even if it's not grey, just get away from the body armor. I want a Batman that can move fluidly and with ease.

Unless I'm thinking of something completely different, that wasn't one of the "real" cowls, but one designed for that scene.

Like how in Star Wars there were several lightsaber prop handles, just for when it was attached to the belt, some metal, some rubber and some plastic.

My first and foremost concern is that we finally get a streamlined, flexible, fabric-based suit. In my ideal world, said suit would be black/blue and grey, but if I have to compromise, I'd settle for all black again.

But the rubber suits have to go. End of story.

I'd rather not rubber, but I'm confident Snyder could deliver the first truly great rubber batsuit.

Over the course of 7 films spanning 23 years, we have had 13 rubber suits (11 if you don't technically count Batgirl's 2 suits).

Let that statistic sink in.

I'd be ok with almost anything as long as it's not light grey and there's no blue involved whatsoever.

Also, the suit needs short ears. Long ears look horrible on film.

I like the idea of the multi-coloured contacts especially if they looked like this
