I love Nolan's trilogy more than anything but if we're getting a Gotham Central tv show.

Make it HBO, 'in it's own world', 10-12 episodes, Idris Elba as Allen, some no name as Renee, 'Peggy from Mad Men' as Maggie, and have solid named actors cameo as the villains week to week...

And, use Batman as stingy as they did in the comic. Just use some stunt guy with a comic like suit that we barely see, mainly in the shadows and cgi jumping off rooftops, etc.

I could listen to the "Batman theme" over and over. That is, the cue that appears in the credits of TDK and TDKR as well as on the track "Imagine the Fire" when Batman is being chased by the city's cops. It's bloody brilliant.

It starts roughly at 0:28 here. The part that gets me every time is right at 1:00.

From Imagine the Fire (this track seems like all the notes are lower):

VIDEO-CLick to Watch!:

And this one sped up by 5%.

VIDEO-CLick to Watch!:

This one is the only one I can find which is true to the original track...except the guy added in horribly synchronized chants. But at 1:30 is where the magic happens.

The whole point of the trilogy, was so he can get back to how he was when he was a child. The real Bruce Wayne. He leaves Gotham behind so he can leave his past and identity behind and start fresh. Selina does the same. That's the point. He cant do much anymore as Wayne anyway because his fortunes are limited at the end. He turns Wayne Manor into a school for orphans in the name of his parents. Changing his name and probably moving out to the countryside in some different continent, is probably what he's doing. No billionaire playboy Bruce Wayne, he's left that behind him. He's never had a normal life, so it's time to have one.

He could have just left then. That's dumb so he's never going to check in on gotham again? Not to check in on Blake, Wayne Manor, Alfred, nothing.

I doubt that. Bruce would most likely go back yo just train Blake, so Gotham has it's new "Batman", and he would still be in contact with Alfred (who I doubt still lives in Gotham).

Kewl! In my case, it's the Bane rhythm that takes the cake - totally burned into my brain lol.
Also Imagine the Fire, the way those high strings suddenly flush in - awesome!

If Bruce fakes his death where will he get his money? If he works somewhere someone will recognise him.

His fortune is gone unless he has some small offshore collections wherever he is. But he would work somewhere where he would be least likely to be noticed, which he had experience in when he was travelling the world for seven years. There is always that chance that his anonymity will be irreperably compromised though, leaving a little bit of doubt that his life sans Gotham will last.

I'm guessing that long before the events of TDKR Bruce secured funds in foreign accounts.

Absolutely. No way the guy is broke financially. He's paranoid so there's no way he tied down all his money to WE. Plus, I'm sure he's been using off shore accounts/off the book records (so as not to tie it to WE) to finance his Batman activities.

Re watched TDK recently and I was thinking. Will there ever be a CBM that will equal it? I know The Avengers has a similar User score on RT but on here TDK wins every time.

Whg do you need links? The movie shows Bruce Wayne alive at the end. Therefore, he is alive. Simple as that.

You need to spend some time in other boards besides the Batboards.

Well here's one where Michael Caine confirmed it:

'The actor is also quick to dispel any ambiguity about the film’s ending. Asked about the scene in which Alfred spies Bruce Wayne and Anne Hathaway’s Selina Kyle sitting together at a neighboring table in that restaurant — a shot that suggests that Alfred’s wish for Bruce has come true, that his former charge has found a companion to bring him some measure of inner peace and happiness, enabling him to finally leave behind his self-appointed role as Gotham’s unofficial protector — Caine is quite emphatic.

“They were there,” Caine said. “They were real. There was no imagination. They were real and he was with Anne, the cat lady, and I was happy ever after for him as I told him during the picture.”'

I love how Caine calls Selina "the cat lady."
