MOS 4 films if the third one doesn't suck
Batman 2 films not including MOS2; then good GAWD let Batman disappear for awhile in the theatre.

Ideally, the model they should look towards is the Bond series. It allows them to make self contained films, but being able to march forward with sequels. No one wants another trilogy, let alone reboot atop of the Affleck helmed one.

Comic superheroes are TAILOR-MADE for this type of treatment since that's what happens in the comics, a new creative team takes over from the last and tells more stories in the same continuity. I don't need to see a character's origin rebooted every 7-10 years. Also, this is just a side note, but I always thought Indiana Jones was a character who would've worked great in the "Bond" style as well(even the original trilogy wasn't a REAL trilogy in the sense of one story arc being told in three parts...it was just 3 movies of completely separate adventures of the same character)
Yep. And have the DC animation head oversee it

Yeah. One film to establish Gotham and his detecting ability (a whodunit,I guess). The other to be an Arkham Asylum based movie (I'm not even talking about the game, just the setting).

Batman cant disappear. He is the JL! We need stories about every single one of his villains, and every single one of his sidekicks too. Matter of fact just put them all in the same movie, and at the same time have batman kicking the crap out of Supes and WW at the same time. :|

But wasn't "Superman Returns" an attempt to do a loose-continuity while recasting the actual roles? We saw how well that went. Although I think that was more because the ideas used were not the best, not because the loose continuity itself was all bad.

Except Lois as a smoker was just to dated a portrayal of the character to work.

I would at least want a new Batman trilogy. The "Bond" approach could work if they use Dredd style story lines where instead of each movie being the most important thing to ever happen in that superhero's life, it's just a day in the life type plot, a single contained story. It would be weird seeing several new actor's in the same continuity though, especially if they don't recast all the main characters at the same time. For example it would be weird if they used the Bond treatment for Affleck while Cavill stays on for three more films.

W/F (since it doesn't look like they are doing a proper sequel this time)
WW (this can be made while someone else is working on MOS3, giving more time for the scripting of MOS2)
MOS2
Batman Arkham solo movie, with JL teaser (and like another poster said, he should drop out from cinemas for awhile)
Justice League
THEN solo franchises afterward based on audience appeal

or
W/F
WW
MOS2
MOS3
JL
AA style movie
Various solo movies.

I absolutely think WW needs to happen before a JL movie.
In that case, maybe
W/F
MOS2 (with WW teaser)
WW
JL.
Spinoffs.
MOS3 somewhere in there.

So yeah, that's only three films before a JL movie. 4 if you add the Flash somewhere there. That's adequate, IMHO, but isn't rushing it like W/F then JL right after would be.

I WILL NOW & FOREVER WANT A RETRO-FUTURISTIC Superman trilogy with cues from STAS and Maxie and Davie Fleischer!

I always wanted to see a live action pulp-inspired Superman. Like SKY CAPTAIN & THE WORLD OF TOMORROW but withSuperman and spread across 3 films. You are right Coco... that would be too perfect!
