Ubisoft is remaking its 1992 side-scroller Flashback, and Jose has all the details on the new graphics and gameplay.

Jose and Ben step into the future with Flashback.
Synopsis: They suffered a Flashback, Jose seemed to like the new skills and abilities in this remake, but Ben thought it strayed too far from its original glory.

It's odd they chose the direction they did for the game rather than just remaking it with better graphics. :/

I honestly don't like the new character designs they came up. So generic and reminds me of the Total Recall remake. Not a compliment.

Sometimes, less is more. There was something about the original that made it more..atmospheric. I think the vagueness of the world actually made it more mysterious.
