I also forgot how poor Encore was apart from a few top quality tracks, especially 'Like Toy Soldiers'.

Oddly enough I just found out the other day that he has a new single out, I've listened to Berserk a few times now and the hook, beat and riff are catchy, but lyrically it's limp, especially from a rapper I think is the greatest lyricist of all time. Hopefully the idea is to kick things off with a catchy club track and the album will have some real depth.
The new album being a sequel to MMLP hopefully brings out a higher level of lyricism from Em. He's been shaky since his return. I don't love Berzerk but it's catchy enough, it will be fine on an otherwise good album.

I actually like Relapse more than most. Disappointed he never dropped the second part. Always sounds like half an album to me.

I loved Recovery. Especially Cinderella Man. One of my favorite tracks.

Interesting read about how they music industry promoted violent rap music to inspire a generation of young black men to commit crimes so they would end up in private prisons so industry insiders could profit. Kind of conspiracy-ish but it does make sense

Nas is the greatest lyricist and rapper. He would shred Eminem. Jay-z would too. It's not even close. Those guys have been doing this almost 20 years and still to this day put out better music than Em. Em = most overrated musician ever.

It's bold to name his album as a sequel to one of the greatest rap albums ever, he must be really confident in the material, hopefully it's not misplaced confidence.

That is gold. Kimmel should do a diss song with a rapper and step this up a notch.

I couldn't even type that last sentence with a straight face.

That whole feud is lame. Kimmel's skit wasn't funny and Ye should've just ignored it.

Em in his prime murdered Jay on his own track. He was untouchable for a good few years. I doubt he'll ever recapture that but it doesn't mean we should forget it either.

Nas is the best who ever did it in my opinion.

Yeah, I don't think so. If you want the dirty version, you have to buy the barcode one. I like this one better too, and you can change once its in your itunes, if you have that. Album is dope though.

yeah i listened to it. It's real nice.

Shame about the cover though. I think the Bar Code is kinda meh even if it's "Illuminati"

Out of all the white female rappers we are getting lately, the one who can spit the best is honestly Natalie Portman.

Tracklist for Eminem's MMLP2 is out. Disappointed in 3 ways: no familiar skits, Survival made the cut, and Skylar Grey and Rihanna are back.

Looks more like Recovery 2 to me.

Agreed. Album looks to be terrible. Not looking forward to it. I wish he didn't name it MMLP2. I think that was an Interscope move for sells. So far, the album doesn't sound good either.

Eminem Releases his new single "Rap God"
The nicest thing I'll say here is that his flow seems a lot more controlled than his previous efforts and he says a good bit but it doesnt exactly have the most depth

After reading the reactions on Twitter I thought the song was gonna be a lot better. The track is good, but I guess it's just not my cup of tea. I'd be more impressed to see Em do the track a capella. It seems over produced.
