Here's what Warner Brothers need to do,

For someone to take over the the director's chair they need to get someone who can balance good action while having great drama and big emotional beats. My pick?

Micheal Bay

I hope they would never pick Bay for Batman, my choice is Brad Bird. First movie being about the court of owls.

I am joking but the last third of MOS felt like a Bay film so I wouldn't be too surprised if Snyder directs the "full reboot" and it's close to a Bay film.

I thought that story was great. To each his own though.

I liked it too, but I'd rather see a classic villain.

Yeah theres plenty of classic villains I'd love to see. But we all know it'll boil down to joker again. Although I'd like to see new iterations of freeze, penguin, and riddler. And killer croc and clayface as side villains.

I'm going to suggest something a bit outside of the box but one who I think would make a great director for Batman and that's Denis Villeneuve. The dude is kind of new if you're going by Hollywood standard's but he's on of my favourites.

I dont think that's outside of the box at all. He fits perfectly. He's at the top of my list for the job, even though i dont see him getting the solo film with Affleck.

In the next few years he's going to become HUGE. After Sicario and Bladerunner 2.

Yeah i don't think he'll be the director but he would be an awesome choice. He's not hit fully mainstream yet but Blade Runner 2 if it's good will take him there.

Sicario look's like it will be a great movie as well. He's currently filming another sci-fi movie before he does Blade Runner and that's Story of Your Life with Amy Adams and Jeremy Renner. Check it out bro. http://forums.superherohype.com/show...tory+your+life

Ridley Scott in his Blade Runner days would've been the perfect director to make an Arkham style Batman.

I say give it to Ben Affleck.

He has the most to lose if the new Batfilms were an embarrassment.

Plus he's arguably in the top 20 directors working today.

Cary Fukunaga should do a Batman movie, no doubt. I think they should keep Villeneuve for Batman Beyond, Fukunaga for a Batman movie down the road when Affleck is done. Let David Ayer do the upcoming solo movie.

Cary is stubborn and won't do a movie like Batman unless he has most of the creative control like Nolan did with Batman Begins. He wouldn't take something that has been established and controlled by Zack Snyder. The next reboot, with a younger, but in his prime (30's) Bats...that'll be the perfect time for Mr. Fukunaga to walk in and take the reigns. I dont know if he's interested though.

Affleck would definitely do a terrific job directing a Batman film, I think. However the idea of Cary Fukunaga directing a Batfilm has me salivating with anticipation... Make it happen, WB!

Hmm....would be nice to see him shoot the solo Bat film the way he shot Children of Men!

Fukunaga would be good, but at the same time, I don't see his vision of Batman veering too far from what Nolan gave us.

Definitely Alfonso Cuaron or David Fincher, both consistent movie makers.

Would love to see Matthew Vaughn take this on if he hadn't already directed Kick-Ass and X-Men movies for Marvel!
