This is my opinion, this is my unpopular opinion, and I have reasons to hate his work

If I may ask, what are these reasons? You say he sucks at telling stories, what about his stories do you feel he fails to tell well?

With that being said, I do agree with you georgec, that Martyrs is a **** film. Violence like that doesn't gross me out, it was just a lame film. So this woman and her cult are torturing people to the point of death just to see if there eyes look up and to the right...which means they are staring at the tunnel of light to heaven. ![]() ![]() Also, at the end of the film, they put up a definition of the word Martyr, the french must have a different definition of it, because what it said on the screen from what I remember, was Not what a martyr, is or means. |

When you're reasons seem to be nothing but 'it sucks, and I don't like it', especially when discussing one of the modern masters of the craft, then yeah. People seem to forget it's a two way street: you're as free to post your opinion as people are to criticize said opinion.

Yes, nobody explained that in the movie and in the end no one gave crap about what they were. They just came from nowhere to make the end of the movie possible.

I dig Zimmer's MOS, but it's not even close for best Superhero score.

First Class and Spider-Man 2 are the best CBM scores imo

John Williams' Superman and Danny Elfman's Batman Returns are my top two.

Imo, Spider-Man 3 is the best. Then Elfman's Hulk.

James Newton Howard's Unbreakable is amazing, as is the movie.
Shirley Walker's Mask of the Phantasm is still the best Batman score ever done.

Absolutely, especially his Sandman theme. "Birth of Sandman" is one of, if not the most beautiful cues written for a superhero movie.

I don't know if it counts as super hero movie but Zimmer's score for The Lone Ranger is also pretty awesome.

Michael B Jordan will make a good Johnny Storm.
He's got the acting chops and charisma for the jokey likable jerk personality of Johnny and is a good choice for the characters 'character'.

As far as unpopular opinions, this one is popular with the crowd but not so much with fans here: Michael Bay's Transformers movies are very entertaining (except the 2nd one, that was terrible). |

On the topic of unpopular superhero scores, I think that X3 has the best score of all the X-Men films.
