we know he will use his powers because till has said he gets too, and we know he is in a platoon with other mutants, they will use their powers at some point, you can't just have recognisable mutants and not show them off, even if they are not there to do big acting performances, its all cameo eye candy like colossus was in X2

so unless something big goes down at the barricks there is probably a little more to his role, most likely reasons of eye candy

That's basically guaranteed he won't have much of a role. We know Lucas filmed for a very short time and that he was mostly 2nd unit filming. That would imply it's likely as part of a glorified cameo action scene. And maybe a scene of two in the barricks with other mutants. I don't think he'll do more than that.

ironically Xavier could walk in the future scenes if memory serves me right, that looks possibly how it goes down in the past

Do we know what time the trailer will release tomorrow?

Just wondering if I'll be able to watch it before I leave for work or if I'll have to wait til I get home.

Hoping the trailer releases early in the day like the Captain America one.

What are you guys planning to ask Singer during the Twitter chat?

First question

FB fan Vlad Micu asks: “How was it to bring the cast of the original X-Men and the cast of X-Men First Class together in the same Movie?

Answer: Awesome, and slightly intimidating.

#AskSinger #XMen was it challenging working with such a big varying cast?

I was real comfortable with the original cast and knew the #FirstClass cast as a writer/producer but not yet as a director.

With the exception of @NicholasHoult of course -- but they were all fantastic and made the experience fun.

“What was the funniest moment on set with the entire cast?” --from Daniel Long on Facebook

In between shooting a serious scene on Xavier's private jet, Michael, Nick, Hugh and James dancing to #BlurredLines #IHaveTheFootage

How does this movie make itself new and fresh, while still keeping the traditional feeling we all loved from the previous movies?#AskSinger

It's all in the cast. They are great actors who know their characters - who know how to bring them to life.

I wonder what goes through people's minds when they ask such annoyingly basic questions. LOL.

@BryanSinger @xmenmovies Mystique has been a fun character to see in the movies. What can we expect to see from her in DOFP #ASKSINGER #XMEN

@irturner She's a much more hardened kick-ass character than she was in #FirstClass.

As expected, only boring questions, that he can give an unrevealing answer to, getting picked so far

"What scene are you editing right now?"

I'm tinkering with a piece in the opening that helps set up the story - but I'm in a good place with the cut. A bit ahead of schedule.

“Mr. Singer, how would you characterize the tone and style of ‘Days of Future Past’?”

Although there is a great deal of humor, the overall tone is a bit darker than previous films, particularly because of the stakes.
