Yep, you can definitely tell the difference. Beast is really the biggest improvement though. As much as I love First Class I always gave that Beast make-up and CGI hell. Mystique's make up was passable but I like the new make-up better. I think it works better for Lawrence. And yes I'm sure Fox said, can you make her a little more recognizable? It looks good though so I don't care.

I always thought her hair, looked like that of a mascot's. And don't even get me started on Beast from FC

I wonder what is going on with Mystique and Mags' relationship?

In the OT she seems to trust him implicitly but he's literally dragging her kicking and screaming.

There doesn't seem to be an actual Brotherhood so is Mystique doing kill-for-hire and crosses Mags?

Yeah, I'm really curious about the Mags/Mystique relationship in this movie. Seems to be going forth and back, I wonder where it'll be at the end and how and why it turns around.

I have a feeling Mystique somehow will on her own come up with the assassination plan and young Magneto is attempting to stop her b/c he finds out about the war torn/apocalyptic future from Logan or Xavier.

Or perhaps Mystique is influenced by another mutant (Apocalypse?) to undertake the assassination a la X-men the animated series rendition of DOFP?

Isn't the scene where he drags Mystique where Beast attacks him and tries to drown him?

LOL. I don't know who is on whose side.

Mystique looked badass in the trailer. Her instantly shapeshifting to escape, ad kicking the crap out of those guys, awesome. I wonder why Magneto is pulling her towards him? Is he angry with her, or trying to save her?

I'm interested to know why Mystique is being dragged down by Magneto. It looks brutal.

At one angle, it looks like her hands are tied behind her back then another angle they're in front of her.

Maybe she's initially handcuffed and that's how Magneto is dragging her then he breaks her cuffs which could explain why her arms end up in front of her body in the following shot.

Mystique looks cool, I kinda wish she had a little detailed scales on her face and her hair was different maybe like the Bob Rebecca Romijn had during the behind the scenes footage of XTLS.

I'm thinking he's dragging her by the foot and whatever he's using isn't yet added in digitally.

So, maybe it's Mystique who inadvertently brings about the DOFP scenario by killing, or at least attempting to kill Nixon.

It's been confirmed she is the cause. An article from Singer had a quote where he mentioned that they send Wolvie back to stop Mystique from assassinating a political figure.

And she can get away really quickly. I wonder where she learned the martial arts that she uses in the trailer?

At least she shows off for him first!

She is naked and no matter the scales, that has to be quite a view.

I suppose they deliberately filmed it with that guy in front so we wouldn't see anything when she spread her legs.

I'm actually hoping to see on what Mystique's interactions will be like with Logan given that it's Jennifer Lawrence.lol

Also, I'm hoping that they have the Old Professor talk about his past relationship with Mystique and how he regrets on what became of her life..like someone else said, it'd be a nice way to tie that relationship/connection between the old and new franchises.

She looks really royal blue in this film and its not really similar to the painting of Mystique in X1 or X2 or X3. And the scales are hardly visible from a far away.

I'm curious if they explain how she developed ninja/gymnast moves so quickly. She didn't have them in first class.
