Even Wolverine is wearing that dorky brown jacket. Magneto and Mystique are the only ones who have any kind of fashion sense, and Mystique is naked.

It's going to be awesome. I'm so glad it's the 70s.

Hugh was joking in an interview awhile back that Wolverine has a blast being back in the 70s. He liked the cars better, he could smoke wherever he wanted...he loves it. That should be fun.

I can't wait until he meets Charles with all of that hair.

A lot of the humor bryan singer mentioned should be In 70's. Especilly Wolverine's reactions to being back in 70's.

I'm expecting at least one put down from him regarding the fashion of the time, especially stuff that he likely wore at the time.

I bet Logan will come up with some brilliant one-liners, like the "Art" answer back in X2.

As for the Logan/young Charles meeting, I expect it to be both emotional, and hilarious. Logan will not resist making a hair joke. "Chuck you were one hairy s.o.b, bub".

Actually, I've wondered about this meeting myself, and pictured it as, Hank and Logan go to the school, Charles opens the door, Logan sees him and just mutters, "Holy sh#t." And Charles furrows his brows with a look of, "What's your problem?" before Hank cuts in and tries to explain what's going on.

I could imagine young Xavier bringing up their previous very short meeting - and mentioning something like "but now you expect me to help you?" type of thing.

Hahaha. It could also be the "meeting in the bar" scene from First Class, reversed. Charles opens the door, Logan starts "Hey, I'm Logan and..." and Charles " go f*** yourself."

Hate to say it but in trailer at least I thought that James' delivery felt weird, like he's forcing his voice too much to sound like Sean Connery or something. Hope he (and Stewart) sound better in the context of the scene but right now it's a letdown considering how much I looked forward to seeing the meeting in the trailer.

I thought it was a bit over-emotional. Well after-all its a Simon Kinberg script. This reminds me of that scene in X3 where Jean is telling Wolverine to kill her.

I wouldn't put the over-emotional delivery on the writer though - it's the director who's actually shooting the scene that's supposed to look after things like this. I could see this line delivered all sorts of other ways.

Well the line is pretty cheesey - "I want your future" LOL! And obviously that would be a factor on the actors' performance.

I loved how McAvoy looked like he's suffering, which he clearly is. And the line...works for me. Delivered with passion, I was sold. There's so much to like about both Xaviers.

The first time I heard it, it caught me off a little...I don't know why, but that seems to happen a bit in sci-fi. The dialogue has to be so strange..."I don't want your suffering--I don't want your future!" Who would say that in real life???

But now that I've seen the trailer a couple of times, it's grown on me. In fact, the trailer's ending is my favorite part; the music finally hits emotionally, the visuals are cool and that bit of dialouge brings it all together.

But I'm always worried when Simon Kinberg is involved in a script; he's done some decent scripts--never a fantastic script--and he's had some serious clunkers (X3, anyone? Seriously?...we're going to have the guy who pooch-screwed a previous X-men movie write the script for this one?). I'm hoping my fears are unfounded.

One of my friends saw the trailer and said Xavier had "Eddie Vedder hair", and now I can't get that out of my head.
