Default MOS visuals, new standards in awesomeness, post your favourite visual !

Hi Super fans,

- time to talk about MOS visuals, and my favourite... visual transitions !

Watching MOS again last night, for the Nth time, I began to notice
really how much thought went into the visuals, particularly Krypton,
if you slow things down and really look, you can see that the cityscape
has been carved out of the living planet -as if they used absolutely
everything, it really does covey the idea of a dying world.

But, what I really noticed were transitions. Snyder is a bit of an artist at
heart, and the visuals which let scenes seamlessly slide into each other were.....well, seamless.

For example, after killing Jor El, Zod and his minions are surrounded by
council attack ship, Zod looks up into the glare of the lights........
which then fades into a view of Rao (krypton's sun) against which
Black Zero's distinctive outline makes a fantastic contrast.

- the transition from Kal-El's spaceship about to land into the
crab boat

- the red wagon and butterfly, when Clark comes home to Kansas

- I could think of a few more.
My favourite being the moment the scoutship doors open and you see
Superman's outline. That's when (in the cinema) I said to myself
"THAT's Superman." because that's what, to me, Superman looks like.

Anyway, what are some of the spectacular sights that really struck people ?

I should mention that I thought that Zimmer's score also enhanced the pacing and provided the perfect background for the visuals. Anyway, enough from me !

I loved this moment.
Also, when Superman is hovering in the air, facing the military: he was godlike (as he should be), and the scene displayed it beautifully.
His ''mind confrontation'' against Zod was visually amazing too.

Tru dat !
That's how I always pictured Supes would look in real life, hovering in the air
looking like a god. The army are **** scared of him, and certainly should be.

Also great that he didn't take any crap from them "Don't play games with me general" (translation, tell me where Lois is, or I'll make you eat one of those tanks).

too bad, none of the army misfired him out of panic. if not, the response from the soldier and superman would look way too cool and funny at the same time.
