What are the highlights of his mentions on B'89?

I just watched the movie again last night (for probably the 50th or 60th time in my life)... I never noticed that during Bruce's dinner at the manor with Vicki, he asks her "Did you have a hard time finding the house?" But uh... she'd already been there before, at the benefit party...

That's what happens when you get hit in the head too often. It's realism.

I've never picked up on that either. That's hilarious.

In fact, that is explained by a deleted scene that was intended to come just before. They had just been playing a game of Monopoly, near the climax of which Alfred gesticulates Bruce to the Batcave by making comical flapping motions and little ears with his fingers on his head. Needing to create a diversion, Bruce knocks the game board flying, scattering the pieces everywhere. He tells Vicki that he must fetch his spectacles in order to help her search for them.

Realising that his business in the Batcave will detain him for some time, Bruce checks on Vicki, who tells him that she has found all of the Monopoly pieces "apart from one of those little green ones".

Later, just before they sit down to dinner, Bruce notices that the set is complete and neatly packed back into its box.

So he asks Vicki, "did you have a hard time finding the house?"

Maybe Vicki didn't drive up to the fundraiser a few nights before? Maybe she drove with other people or Knox.

Maybe that was another one of those weird, awkward acts Wayne had in an attempt to be "normal". You know, "normal", cliched, chitter chatter.

Maybe the writers dun fudged up.

No, that's not possible. This movie is too perfect for that.

For me, this is still THE Batman film. Loved Nolan's films, well the first two, but I just love the gothic feel and atmosphere of this and Returns. And Keaton's Batman is genuinely creepy and mysterious. There is a scene in Returns when we first see him, just sitting in the dark in Wayne Manor deep in thought, then the bat signal shines through the window and he stands to attention. To me that is Bruce Wayne/Batman. An isolated and tortured soul whose sole purpose of living is to be Batman.

I like when he says "you gotta let the suit do the work" or something like that.

Legend says that it was Nicholson who told Keaton that. They were either talking about it with Burton or in a make-up session (or both) and Keaton said he wanted to express Batman's inner self and intensity and Jack told him something among the lines of 'relax, boy. Good thing about this kind of movies is that you let the costume do the work for you.'

Anyways, good video with Keaton.

Yeah years later Keaton says that to a young actor what a great guy. I would love to hear him talk more about Batman and wish voiced the character in a animated film.

Keaton's still my favorite live action Bruce Wayne / Batman.

So what's your favourite track from the soundtrack? Mine would be Descent Into Mystery or Waltz To The Death.

"Childhood Remembered". I love the sheer melodrama of it.
