I always thought Tony Stark was Hispanic in much the same way that Charlie Sheen or Cameron Diaz where his panic. He just has white Spanish ancestry somewhere.

Yeah it's not like there are currently two critically acclaimed movies starring/focusing on female characters that are #1 and #2 at the box office, one of which is an action movie and the other which features a female character with superpowers, oh wait.

I'm so happy they included him in this movie. When I was younger I had all the old Cap /Falcon books. They were a great team.

Same here! I'm so glad he's in the film, but I hope in future sequels he will be the main supporting character because I am fine with Black Widow being that in this film because of The Winter Soldier connections and the fact she is a character from the Avengers that the audience already know and is marketable. Plus, I understand they are only setting up Falcon in this film along with Sharon Carter.

But in sequels I hope that BW either takes a back seat or isn't in future Cap films at all and give the Falcon the limelight in the spirit of the classic Cap/Falcon comics.

I hope that Falcon's scenes are intact throughout the film. Maybe a future film can include Leela. Get C. Priest for script consultation.

Still wondering why they haven't released a Falcon poster, considering he had a some nice shots in the trailer and is a character closely connected to CA. Thinking they'll release one for him in a batch with WS and Alexander Pierce.

From the little we've seen of Falcon, I'm already more in love with him than Hawkeye.

Seems more useful for The Avengers, too.

His mother was Hispanic in the Ultimates universe.

Mainstream Tony's mother is Maria Carbonell, which isn't a WASP-ish name, exactly.

I think a quiver full of trick arrows >>> ability to fly. Both IM and Thor already got the flying down pat, and Falcon is just like BW with mechanical wings.

Entertainment Weekly gave a small review of their visit to the set and said that Falcon's wings are stamped and serialized with a Stark Industries logo. That would make it be that Tony Stark is helping provide SHIELD or maybe just CA and his buddies with his tech.

Wow, that's really cool knowing Stark designed those wings.

I really, really hope not.

Do they think Tony needs the exposure, or something?

I'd much rather it be that Sam made the gear himself, like in the Ultimates. Or that its a Wakandan export, or anything.

Didn't you know this is Tony Starks universe and we're all just part of it?

On another note do we know what quarter to expect the trailer tonight?

I think Falcon is going to steal the show of this trailer. I'm curious to see the twitter buzz when it comes on.

Agreed.

If Tony made it, he should've just given him some armor lol.

This. I was really hoping either Falcon's wings or the new helicarriers would get us a Black Panther easter egg, like a mention of the Wakandan Design Group. If not that, definitely that Falcon's wings were self-designed.

I was one of those hoping for (bio)mechanical flapping wings and I am thrilled with what im seeing so far. Probably better (and more plausible) than what I had in mind.

I think they are going to be bio Mechanical Flapping Wings. They have so many joints and he sticks his hands out when they deploy. I think they are going to bend and flex with his hand movements. It's like they are going to be controlled wirelessly with whatever the thing is in his hands.

It makes sense they're built my the genus of this movie world, being based off his own beautiful product (IM suit).

I like the look of Falcon

Tony designing Falcon's wings would make sense and be a progression from where he was at the end of IM3. The whole point of that movie was that TONY was the hero and the armor was simply a tool. He didn't really need it to help people. Him designing tech/equipment for other heroes fits nicely with that idea.

I think people are over-reaching into any mention of Tony Stark creating the wings. Tony Stark's name is also on the glass/plastic prison doors Magneto is held captive in in X2.
