Yeah this is getting desperate at this point. Why can't many of the supporters of the panties ever have a conversation without name calling or belittling?

Perfect examples!

You want both? I'm confused as one has no straps yet your saying they are essential. I'm glad you have recanted. I'd like the strapless on the skirt.

Oh I love the Eagle on the strapless that would be perfect.

I haven't recanted. I've posted that picture 3 or 4 times. The first couple of times I've said "the pants costume needs straps and then it's perfect" or something like that. I just got tired of saying that every time.

Nice try though. This argument is almost as good as king666's, lol.

I think now I know they have nothing of substance to add.

Just putting two straps in the modern costume woud look weird. You'd need to adapt it a bit.

I disagree. If anything it better completes the look IMO.

Exactly. Logic is not on their side, so they use strawmen or trickery/technicalities.

I think you're saying that the costume needs to be re-worked as a whole, rather than just sticking straps on the traditional costume. I agree.

Well, that's an very uncreative solution. I'm all for the simple, yet you also need the creativity of a good designer.

Yes. Just like the costume in the left. The shoulder pads are integrated with the brest plate, it's natural.

Two straps just look like you average women clothes.

If we have shoulder straps, I would prefer them to integrate properly with the rest of the design. Perhaps the wings of the chest eagle could extend to loop over the shoulders, with straps draping over the upper arms, mirroring the battle skirt.

I need to be clear there are far more innovative ways to accomplish the function of straps. That's why I made the "straps" more like armor on either side of her in my design connected to her bodice and the eagle design on her chest.. Whether it is your cup of tea or not is up to you but it is not "Just putting two straps in the modern costume."

That sounds lovely. I wish there was an image of that to look at.

I think that would make for a striking design .

^ I think it was the lack of color on the breast plate that threw me off. But I love that idea.

It's that what that was? I don't think I realized that the chest emblem there was the eagle, perhaps because it wasn't gold. I picture the shoulders having straps like a Roman Tribune.

regwec: Yes. Here's a gold one just for reference though the hair is kind of obscuring it.

No gold! Silver is much better!

I love the gold but I think the silver or "white" metal look is much more "otherworldly looking." I like both but would be happy to see the silver.

Yeah I really think that adds something to the feel and makes the design seem larger than life in a way.

Now I feel like I need to make another drawing that is clearer for you to see all the design attributes better.

Hey remember that time when you and a lot of other dudes who don't want the panties were bashing on every panties costume, saying stuff like "the panties costume looks ridiculous" and "she looks like a stripper", etc?

honestly, I don't care about panties, pants, straps, skirts, boots, etc. I just want her to look like Wonder Woman. When I watch this movie I want to see Wonder Woman.

I still think calling her classic costume "panties" is offensive.it's not an undergarment. Giving her a "skirt" will ironically make them "panties".

As far as straps are concerned,I could live with that, provided they are straps and not NFL linebacker pads, the way I imagine they'll design it.

Yep it's kind strange that a warrior can fight with agility in 5 cm heels
BTW my favorite was the right one.

Th Cool Re: The Wonder Woman Costume Thread - Part 5

Well, I did post a quick drawing of my concept. Wondy has white trimed leather shorts, and red shoulder armor attached to the chest piece:

I also slightly modified a design from a much better artist, to show a glamorous version with sexy, functional straps:

Edit: red boots with this toe shape but a bit lower heel woul be my preference. I'm a bit torn on what length. (and a proper link for the picture I found, grrr!)
