Why do you people assume business is about being fair? The one thing in the studios' mind is to make money, no matter what.

I for one am glad they are coming out on the same day. To me it just means I get to see both without making two trips to the cinema. And I really don't think it's going to lower box office takings as much as people think.

I do think colors make a difference. Hopefully they'll keep hands off the saturation knob.

VLC is awesome

a date does not belong to a studio/movie until it comes out on that date

This will give the movies some breathing room through the end of summer as opposed to them being lost in June.
That makes sense, but MOS was starting a new franchise too and could have used that date.

It's times like this where I keep asking myself on why superman is the only character that can't get a film presented with vibrant colors in the 21st century

Ah, thanks. I didn't read his article. In fact, I never pay attention to that dude. Extreme bias one way or another doesn't do it for me.

Someone needs to explain why Snyder wanted those blah colors in MOS to me.

Because he knew that Mrs Kent would fall even harder for Henry if he were presented in vibrant colors

Not sure what colors have to do with that, lol. I would have given Snyder bonus points if the colors started out bleak and then got brighter when Supes found his purpose. That would have been cool.

One thing I do how they keep in this movie is how Superman uses his heat vision. I love how every time he used it his eyes looked more a bit more alien and how it also gives the enemy a little opening because how it always effects them.

That one one of my favorite things in the movie. Using the heat vision sort of hurts and/or is disorienting. Makes complete sense. Little stuff like that Snyder excels at, and indeed makes the world and Supes a bit more believable and relatable.

I think it's a crutch he has. Force of habit that he had to stylize something.

I loved the heat vision in MoS, both in how it affected him and how it looked.

Man of Steel, is so pretty though on blu-ray.

Other than maybe Terrio, not writing it one of the worse things would be if it was announced BvS, will be shot on arri alexa or red epic. So it was shiny and in line with Arrow and the new Flash show.
