Charlize Theron

Elsa Patacky (?) just for the sake of shearing real seducin chemistry with his husband

on a side note, for some reason i totally see Karl Urban as Baldr (although i've already given up for a potential appearence on film)

Same here. Way too many rail thin actresses being suggested.

Eva would make the perfect Hela.

I'd rather have Eva Green as Hela than Enchantress.

I think Elena Satine, who plays Lorelei, has the right "body type" for Amora. I'm glad they cast her, because it gives me hope that they will cast her big sister along the same lines.

And I know that is a horribly superficial statement, but we talk about casting men for superhero roles in the same way so I don't feel too bad.

Oh I agree. It's odd that it's acceptable to expect the men to look like they stepped off the comic page, but it's deemed wrong to do so for women.

I mean we wouldn't accept a skinny Thor but Wonder Woman is fine?...

Actually a lot of the BvsS board were saying the thin frame Gadot need more working out; only few were fine with her frail body type once she was cast.

Imogen Poots bears a resemblance to both Elena Satine and Amora in the comics.

She also has a really unfortunate last name.

Eva Green as Amora, it's so obvious. Her playing Hela would be such a waste because she'd likely NOT be the main villain and she'd be wearing a mask. Also, Eva just screams Enchantress to be in general. Elena Satine can return as Lorelei alongside her older sister. I'd have Rachel Weisz play Hela.

I like Eva Green, but I can not see her as Amora. In my opinion, the enchantress is a character who would translate best to live action with softer facial features. Eva Green is somebody that just always comes across as a bad guy whenever she plays a bad guy. Amora needs to come across as someone you could see yourself trusting.

Besides, there's plenty of actresses that are actually blonde that would fit the role just as well as or better than Eva Green.

She has played characters like that before, Casino Royale anyone? I remember the twist regarding her character being a huge surprise to the audience that I saw the movie with.

I don't think I've seen her in anything. While I would prefer a more mature Amora, Sarah Gadon does look enough like Elana Satine (Lorelei) to play her sister. (The don't look like twins or anything, but as far as movie characters go...)

She's been in a few David Cronenberg movies, and she proved to be a very talented actress. And I would love to see young Amora - fearless, ambitious and very powerful - a deadly combination.

Here are my top 3

1. Viva Bianca

Partially since she's good at playing vain, shallow, manipulative women. Partially so Chris Hemsworth gets to work with a fellow Australian which would help the chemistry between the hero and villain, partially since she's underrated and needs more exposure.

2. Rachel McAdams

If this take on Enchantress is one where she's more icy than seductive, I'd like to see Rachel McAdams play her. Nobody plays somebody who's completely heartless yet aloof better than her but she also has a surprising range. The only reason why she's #2 instead of #1 is because she's too easy of a choice and Marvel likes unconventional casting.

3. Melanie Laurent

Inglorious Basterds proved that she could do scheming. The fact that her career hasn't taken off since then is an absolute travesty. This is one choice that's perfect yet completely out of left field that I think the fans who already have some sort of expectation of who the character is can find her redefined in the same way that Robert Downey Jr redefined Tony Stark.

Edit: Melanie Laurent pic was down.

Really like the Imogen Poots (what kinda surname is Poots, incidently?) shout. Saw her in The Look Of Love, Filth and Fright Night. Would be really good as Amora.
