There is more superhero movie product coming to screens than ever before. Not all of these films are going to be hits. WB has seven new superhero films reportedly coming in just four years. Then there are the other studios. That's a lot of superhero films.

Why are we assuming that Aquaman might be an alien?

Because people aren't intelligent enough to think that not everything has to be alien and there isn't a way to work around that.

There will be like 40 animated movies coming out in that time frame as well. Obviously not all the films are going to be hits, that doesn't equate to being over saturated at all.

If you're to categorize every sort of film that is produced each year, superhero films is going to be on the bottom of that very long list. This genre isn't going anywhere.

The person that suggested it's a Goyer idea doesn't like the man that much.

I will never get how Snyder can cast such bigger than life guns who can break you but casts someone who Jesse Eisenberg could probably beat up as Wonder Woman.

If Momoa really is our AQUAMAN, then I seriously am in love with the way Snyder has cast the JL so far. Beautiful cast. I have no doubt that GL and Flash will be spot on.

Well surely exceptions should be made for the two biggest superhero icons of our time. I doubt Goyer as a fan would dare interfere with our expectations on their origins.

Themyscirans and Atlanteans on the other hand? There's much less attachment to them, wouldn't you say? Besides, I doubt it will be an integral component to their histories. Probably more of a vague implication. Their comic book origins can still exist largely in tact, they would just have this distant connection. Maybe. I don't know.

I wouldn't doubt it, and I wouldn't mind it either.

As long as we still have an underwater kingdom and an invisible island, I'm good.

Emily Blunt maybe. She looked good in Edge of Tomorrow. Has more to do with her look in Edge of Tomorrow than the rumor of her.

Yeah, it's kind of sad. After watching Edge of Tomorrow it become worse. It's like: look what it could have been...

Although I suppose we could wait?

I assume a main criteria for the Wonder Woman casting was that she didn't look anglo-saxon. (which I'm glad they did. I've never been a fan of white-bread Wonder Woman, Linda Carter included).
