That film premiered here around the same time as Saving Mr.Banks, i wanted to watch the 2nd one, but Winter's Tale had a Valentine's Day discount and i had to go see that one, glad it was a failure at the box office though, other films deserved that money more.

5. Captain America: Winter Soldier
6. The Lego Movie
7. Edge Of Tomorrow

First seven are all very good. The last four are all fine, but nothing too exciting. I haven't seen anything awful this year though, which is good. It's been a solid year so far. I missed Under The Skin, Locke and The Immigrant. I need to see them.

I rank from 1 to 10, if i put a .5 it's because i'm not sure where to place that certain film, for example, a 6.5 is because i'm not sure it deserves a 6 or a 7, since i may consider it too good for a 6, but not good enough for a 7.

1. X-Men: Days of Future Past - 7.5/10
2. Noah - 7/10
3. Captain America: The Winter Soldier - 7/10
4. Godzilla - 5/10
5. Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit - 5/10
6. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 - 4/10
7. Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones - 4/10
8. Winter's Tale - 3.5/10
9. Ride Along - 3.5/10
10. I, Frankenstein - 3/10
11. The Legend of Hercules - 2/10

Realy haven't watched many films this year, went to see X-Men, Winter's Tale, Captain America, Noah and Godzilla to the cinemas, but not many other 2014 released films. Been watching most of the 2014 films that got the bigger publicity or more worth discussing in order of release, almost finished with January and it will hopefuly pick up with The Raid 2, Non-Stop and Robocop, after that the films look less painfuly bad.

I did enjoy I, Frankenstein and liked the design work, so i would consider it more enjoyable than some of the films i rated higher, it's still awful, but closer to guilty pleasure material.

Noah and Captain America are kinda interchangeable from their spots, i gave the edge to Noah this time.

Well, i think there needs to be a clear distiction in ratings between a Barry Lyndon and a Die Hard, 5/6 is pretty much average, as it's decently made, nothing amazing, but still something good enough, 7 is usualy very well done for me, it's the peak of an entertainment blockbuster for certain movies, 8 and on are when the films are realy good and definitely above average.

There are much tighter rankers than me, there are people who will give less than a 5 to most high budgeted films out there.

Indeed seems a bit weird to give a film that, 1 is usualy the floor dedicated to amateur movies, 0 is given when there is no movie at all.

I really don't get the hatred for Age of Extinction, i mean, if it hadn't been for 2 and 3 being such abortions of cinema, this dumb flick wouldn't be automaticly hated by internet and critics.

It has cool action, visually pleasing combat shots, Kelsey Grammer is in a way darker film and Stanley Tucci's character while a riff to Steve Jobs is pretty funny, not to mention nothing racist.

I don't get why people who already hate the franchise, go on to see it (thus support it) and then make these 0/10 reviews or whatever. Honestly, i'll say this, because i know it'll get attention: Godzilla was far worse movie than Transformers, because while Transformers is way too long of an movie, it at least delivers a lot more monster action.

No kidding, Drz. I saw the first Transformers on opening night...hated it...and haven't seen any of the sequels. Why would I continue to pay (or waste my Netflix time) to watch sequels I will hate to a movie I didn't like?

My problem with Godzilla was the main character, and that the trailer showed the possibility of a better film than what we've gotten, i heard it was a disapointment before i went to see it, so it wasn't just shock, the film itself was kind weak, having to come up with reason after reason in order for the main character to be in the middle of the action and not handling it very well.

The Director wanted to build Godzilla up, but his decisions didn't work at all, it just came across as if part of the film was unfinished.
