Are those Batman and Robin commercials animated by Brian Bolland? I swear they look completely like the style of the Killing Joke.

Saw Guardians of the Galaxy last night and really liked it. A bit more than I did Avengers.
A couple of notes:
-I could completely understand how just throwing the general audience into a new sci-fi universe where even the human character was completely familiar with the backstory and concepts could be overbearing. Strange planets and alien races without much explanation. But I think people are more willing to go along with it than studios might think. The opposite approach of a wall of exposition at the beginning like Green Lantern isn't the right way to go.

-Wow, there was more slow-mo than a Zack Snyder movie complaint.

-I for one am glad that the two universes have so far have had different tones. For better or worst depending on what you like. Not everyone will like the light tone of Marvel and not everyone will like the darker tone of DC. But they should look different imo. If DC movies start looking like Marvel movies, we're gonna kill this trend faster than necessary because I think people will started getting been there done that feeling.
I stand by my belief that Snyder is the perfect person to start this universe off.

Life Pro Tip: Posting pictures, or saying a thread should get back on topic won't get the thread back on topic. Changing the subject does. Such as this:

When do you guys expect an actual trailer to be released?

Even though it would be too soon for it, but I think that there could be a small possibility that the first teaser could be released with the Hobbit.

Here's my scenario:
Teaser in front of The Hobbit (December 2014) or Avengers: Age of Ultron (May 2015). Latter seems likely
Trailer #2: Mockingjay (November 2015) or Star Wars: Episode VII (December 2015).
Trailer #3: February 2016

Assuming the May 6th date stays in place.

I wonder if people would still be reluctant for darkseid to be used in the first jl movie if imperiex is intended to be the final villain of the jl trilogy.

I can't wait for the sequel to Pan "The Boy Who Wouldn't Grow Up" followed by the epic conclusion to the series "The Boy Who Wouldn't Grow Up Rises"

But then the first movie would have to be called 'Panman Pegins'!

They can call it whatever they want as long as Peter wears his iconic green outfit and not some rubber suit with nipples like in past pan movies.

Yeah, I'm just worried that if Pan of Steel isn't widely accepted by the audience and critics, they might try to shoehorn Pinocchio into the sequel, and we all know how long Hollywood has been trying to do a 'Pan vs Pinocchio' team up movie.

I'm still hoping that they base the first JLA film on "The New Frontier", and feature Dinosaur Island/The Centre.
