Default Searching for the crystals

Why do you think Kitty thew them out?

Do you think that the future sequels will show Kal-El looking for them in space, trying to relocate the remains of his mother and father?

Kitty didnt want to see billions of people die. As much as she loves Lex she's still got a concience.

As far as the crystals go, i have this feeling that Superman's son is gonna deathly sick because of his mixed genes and once again Superman is gonna defy the laws of Earths nature to bring his son back from the dead and the crystals are gonna play a role in it somehow. And while he's up in space searching for the crystals a "villian" is gonna follow him to earth. So not only is Superman left to try and save his dying son but he's gotta contend with a new Villian.

Kitty threw them out because she didn't want Lex repeating his evil plan. She realized her mistake in almost helping him kill billions of people.

Also, I was under the impression that the only crystals Lex took were the ones designed to create the land masses. The "sea monkeys", if you will. I didn't think he took the crystals that contained the memories of Jor-El and Lara, did he?

The entire fortress was grown from one crystal in the first movie so I would assume each crystal is like a stem-cell. They store information and grow so I wouldnt really worry about the fortress' crystals being gone because they may grow back. What he has to worry about it someone else using those crystals out there as "seeds" again.

I always took the green crystal as being the 'master' crystal.
Maybe he used up it's energy in SM2
