Bale's rendition; what should stay and what should go?

Well its only natural that Batman's voice would change early in Batman's career. I would prefer it to be more consistent in the later movies however.

What should he add? He should play Batman darker, less Superman, more Punisher.

After seeing his performance do you trust him with taking liberties in the role as much as you trust Nolan if you liked BB? ablibing is required

I want the suit to have a square jaw line, their suit in Begins was round like Batgirls suit. Also I want to see at least one suit used in the movie that is made of the memory material rather than bulky armor.

But Bale's voice just seemed so forced, and sometimes made me cringe. Maybe he could tone it down a bit... I don't know. Batman kicks ass, so that's all that matters

When I read the comics and see Batman with his top and bottom teeth showing while he talks Im just not thinkin' whispers.

If people in the comics actually question whether Batman is an animal or human, I think the comic Batman would sound very similar to Bale.

I liked just about everything in his rendition...I do think we need to see more of Bruce Wayne at social gatherings and events...and his professional tone while in Wayne tower with the board of directors or doing walkthroughs and meeting with important buisness associates...stuff like that...a little more of Wayne mingling.

I agree. Bale is a fine actor and was great as both Bruce Wayne and Batman. I can't really see anybody else playing the role, and Bale should not change a thing. His only challenge is to duplicate the same role he portrayed in the first movie.

Is a man in control that is beating you within an inch of your life any less intimidating than one who seems out of control? Would Flass have been any less freaked-out as he dangled from twenty stories up had Bale whispered to him? For all of Bale's animalistic pretense, how many people in Begins actually mistook Batman for anything other than human? Or as Loeb put it… “some ***hole in a costume.”

I prefer my Batman authoritative, not out-of-control. There's a difference between the two.

I don't want him to just duplicate his performance in Begins. If he does that, he'll just sleepwalk through the whole franchise playing Bats the same way. Don't get me wrong, I think he nailed it, but with a character like Batman, you can play the part so many ways.

He was good even as a kid, and I've yet to see him acting poorly so yeah, he's great. I'm curious as to where he'll take the character in the sequel, but of course that will depend on the screenplay mostly. Can't wait!

It would have been the saving grace of those films, but they were too utter horrible (B&R mostly, Forever is watchable from time to time) so that would have been weird....

Honestly I thought Bale was perfect. My issues with the movie have nothing to do with him. I didn't like the love intrest with a uninteresting charecter that wasn't in the comics Bruce/Batman had plenty of love intrests that they could of used if they really had to do the damn love story.I have a few problems with the suit but I can deal with it my biggest problem has and will always be the Batmobile I hated it.

I think that the 'romance' between Bruce and Rachel worked because it was downplayed. It wasn't mushy. It was done alright where I accepted as is.
