What's the better Oasis song? "Don't Look Back In Anger" or "Live Forever"

Except that's true. Hendrix was a talented dude, but the noises that he and that ridiculous backing band of his made were awful.

As for Oasis, Don't Look Back In Anger is clearly the superior song as it sounds more like music and not a bunch of pissed up mancunians.

The Gallagher brothers were a couple of "pissed up Mancunians" (no relation to Macacans") who made tons of great songs and atleast 3 fantastic albums.

1 great album and 1 okay album.

Oasis were, and always will be, a product of thier time though. At any other point in history their arrogance would've landed them smack on their arses, but the Adidas campus wearing, beer swilling, football loving 'indie chavs' lapped it up, which is shame as some genuinely fantastic music emerged from the time (see Pulp).
