I enjoyed the movie enough to want to get it on Blu-Ray week one...

I know you gave it a 7, but what exactly did you think of the movie? Like do you thinks its as bad as a screw up as the majority is saying?

The thing is, the majority of people, according to RT and IMDB, liked the movie... 7/10 liked it on RT, and 7.4/10 on IMDB. The only place the majority dislike the movie is on these forums where you find hardcore comic nerds fuming about the movie. The general public liked the movie overall.

still, I love the heck outta the films. ASM2 is a huge step above ASM-1 (not that I am dismissing it---Ifans was frickin' awesome in that film. He played the definitive Jekyll/Hyde as Lizard.)
I don't think they are excluding the Oscorp attack, I think that might be in Felicia Sees Her Boss (maybe referring to when he comes towards her all Goblined up, in the trailers) or in Goblin Kills Menken.

I've enjoyed the more positive vibe on these boards since some more people who like the film have come back for a little while. Certainly makes the boards much less depressing for me.

I'm actually devastated that the alternate death scene for Gwen was not included, really wanted to see it.

I can't wait for TASM2 on Blu-Ray. I need some more drink coasters.

As was I. It'd be a treat if a directors cut comes around this Christmas

You must be mistaken, Marc Webb has only made two Spider-Man movies? Besides, the blurays are for drink coasters, the dvds are great for shooting practice.

It's funny. I had 2 DVDs of Spider-Man 1. As a kid, my parents got me and my brother one of those DVD player TVs to shut us up on roadtrips and we watched Spider-Man 1 a ton of times.

One day, it was under a pillow and I rested my arm on the pillow and it snapped. It was disc 1. Wish it was Disc 2 because Disc 1 is the movie. My mom brought another one though.

I have Spider-Man 2 on DVD and got 2.1. I got Spidey 3 on DVD. I need to get some of those on Blu-Ray.

If and I mean IF TASM1 was $8 for blu-ray, I wouldn't mind picking it up. Best Buy had Rise of the Planet of the Apes on Blu-Ray for $8 and it came with a free movie ticket and I picked it up. First time I saw the film. Great movie.

I don't own TASM, and since TASM 2 was fifty times worse than it, needless to say I won't be getting it either.

I have two copies of SM1 on DVD, too. One came from a cool boxset, and the other was fullscreen.

Oh, the trilogy by Raimi! I already have the blu ray set, it is great, isn't it?

As per the box set, you mean this?

I agree then.

Certainly I don't believe that my opinion of the film is fact. I have two brothers who liked it so yeah I didn't forget anything.

I'm surprised they went with Electro's head rather than Spider-Man's.
