Congrats!

I've realised small phones are not for me. I have the iPhone 7 but I am still using my old Windows phone more. Glad I took out an early upgrade option which means I will be able to upgrade to iPhone 8 Plus (assuming they still do Plus next time out) after 1 year.

Oh thanks for that. Looks very interesting and I hope something comes off it. I'm open to continuing with Windows Phone and going back to it as my main phone next year if they come back with a bang and a bit more app functionality.

So I've done it. I got Google Contacts to finally sync my Outlook address book, so they're all there. There's still the occasional bug when it comes to initials (listing that contact twice with the periods and without). I also got Google Camera and Photos to back up all media to my OneDrive, so now I'm good to go.

Now I've been going back and forth on this subject. Should I stick with the stock Google Keyboard or download a third-party one? I'm leaning towards SwiftKey as it's owned by MS now since I'm on an MS ecosystem kick, but I'm also interested in Fleksy.

I've used Swype, Swiftkey, and Google, but go back to Swype every time.

On another note, I still have my LG G3. I'm considering the LG V20 or Google Pixel XL. The XL makes the most sense, but it's design is bland on the front. The only design aspect of the phone that I do like is the wedge shape which allows the camera to remain flush with the back.

I would be leery of the V20. LG's phones have been suffering from hardware failure resulting in a bootloop with the G4, V10, and G5. I'm not saying the V20 would have it, but the fact it happened to so many of its flagships is discouraging. Be careful with the Pixels as the glass window on the back is known to be very fragile as in putting on a tabletop from a few inches could cause it to crack. I'm sure that will be fixed with future production batches.

As for Swype, I've been hearing mixed reviews on it. Some reviews on YouTube think the newer versions are laggy.
