Yep. Emi claim Welling will be playing Supes back in late Oct./early Nov. Or at least she sound very excited on saying "This is the big news!!" on CD forum of JL one time.

Justin Marks has been getting very positive reviews for his Voltron, Green Arrow and He-Man scripts. I wonder if WB and Singer have considered him for the writing duties on this SR2? Maybe in combo with David Goyer or David Hayter?

I'd vote Hayter. All the way. I think he can make the film work.

I'd go with Hayter, too. Isn't Goyer busy with Magneto anyways?

April 18th, 2008

David Hayter was a guest speaker at York University in Toronto Canada about 2 1/2 weeks ago. He came in to discuss his profession with the class and somebody asked him about Superman Returns and what his thoughts were on the movie. He said he thought it was great but the films biggest problem was that "it couldnt decide whether it was a Richard Donner film or a reboot Singer film"

He said bryan is working on the sequel and hes talked to bryan about it and Bryan is aware of the fanboy complaints with SR and is committed to more modern comicbooks for MOS. He also said that Bryan was a hawk when it comes to trying to please the fans and will go all out for this one. He also told the class how much he loathes X-3.

He is in my list of possible contenders.

He seems like a very strong candidate to write the film to me.

He can deliver on comic films.

He is on my short list of possible names which include Orci and Kurtzman, David Hayter and a couple long shots, David Goyer and Michele and Kieran Mulroney. There is also a possiblity that the studio is going with a novice screenwriter.

This is YOUR opinion. Not better nor worst than any other opinion.

But most of ppl thinks X2 is better than first one. I, personally, think that X2 is MUCH better than first X-Men.

Not that X-Men is bad. It isnt.

I don't care who writes it as long as i'm entertained. I want to walk out at the end not just liking it, but loving it.

Didn't Chud.com say that Orci and Kurtzman weren't the writers?

Nothing wrong with Chud. Are you connected with that other site or something, you seem to do a lot of talking about it and pointing it out on this site?
