Having listened to both Lena Headey and Nicolaj Coster-Waldau talk about that scene, I can say unequivocally that it wasn't a rape. It was Cersei giving an extremely empty and half-hearted objection that Jaime knew was empty and half-hearted.

By all means, though, go ahead and see Jaime as more than the villain he's been portrayed as for 6 seasons even though doing so means embracing "alternate facts".

Um... I never said I saw him as villain... I actually think he's become more heroic and redeeming as the seasons have gone... Stop making **** up... oh nevermind, forgot who i was talking to... I'll just respond to you with this very true quote and laugh as you continue to make a fool of yourself.

In no way shape or form was Jaime portrayed as a villain in Season 3.

A big deal for me is the passive aggressive Trump jab numbnuts mccoy dished out in a completely nonpolitical thread.

anyways, the show might not have jaime kill cersei because, well, D&D are tools... and judging from information we know, it would certainly have to be in the finale or season 8

not sure since season 7 is only 7 episodes and 8 is only 6... i will hold out hope they are extended episodes, at least a few of them.

There's no way the show doesn't end on a two hour finale. 90 minutes at the shortest.

The series finale might be 90 minutes, but beyond that you're all drunk and crazy.

I'm not getting my hopes up. I think if they felt they needed a 6 episode season 8 with a two hour finale they would have just asked for a 7 episode season 8. I'm expecting a 75-80 minute finale for season 8. I figure the other 12 episodes will be 55-65 minutes.

Edit: Actually, now that I think about it, episode 5 of season 8 may be the big climactic episode (and the longest of the 13) and episode 6 may be a smaller scale sort of epilogue episode showing what happened after all this white walker & iron throne business was settled. I'd prefer that rather than them trying to cram the climactic action stuff and the wrap up and epilogue all in the finale.

They need to have a 2 hour finale or penultimate episode, like you said. (Esp since traditionally those are their big ones) I just don't want them to skimp on the time now that there's less episodes. None of this 51 minute ********.

(I need the show to be long since tWoW is taking for ever and we'll probably never see ADOS)

is it Daenerys? the word could include females, then there's arya.

cersei's not a good queen though. she doesn't see the consequences of her actions (two, three steps ahead) and gets into trouble fairly easily

losing control of Joeffry after putting him on the throne, putting the Sparrows in power only to shame herself, and losing her last son by murdering Margery with an idea she stole from Tyrion -- she's got absolutely no future anymore
. I honestly think she's screwed. At least, I don't think the Mountain could stop one dragon, let alone three and he's all she's really got. Or that and her little birds. She's also broke
Spoiler!!! Click to Read!:

so she could well be murdered by any little sibling of anybody's.

I have a feeling it will be Jamie. Everybody dies on GoT, that ain't a big deal. But Cersie's death better be a big deal.

I hope THE QUEEN cersei doesn't die but i agree, if she does they need it to be a big deal. She (and some others) carry this whole show lets be honest. i think kings landing would be boring without cersei zzzzz

King's Landing has been **** since the end of Season 4, Cersei's done nothing to lift it above the drudgery that it encompasses.
