Me, too. I figured for all the bluster that they would have done better and achieved more.

I also don't think Cersi has any intention of honoring her promise to Euron. She'll never marry again.

You know, gotta imagine that Jaime and even everyone else in the Seven Kingdoms is at least a LITTLE bit grateful for what Olenna did to Joffrey.

Also, did Cersei care THAT much for Myrcella? I mean, the girl got recast and no one seemed to notice!

Lol, I think Cersi is just using it as an excuse to be cruel. She likes it. She is the Mad Queen, lol.

I wish that Olenna had sent all the gold to Dragonstone. She knew her men were to pretty to win.

Cersie has already had so many wins.

On an unrelated note, very happy to see Bronn again, even if it was brief.

That was a great curtain call for Olenna.

And I was not expecting Jon meeting Dany to take up that much screentime this episode. I had thought it would be a tease, with him being brought before her as the final scene in the episode. I was not disappointed.

Olenna got the classy way out.

Really enjoyed the Dany/Jon scenes.... Ser Davos once again the greatest hype man ever.

Diana Rigg's coming for that Guest Emmy!

I love how Daenerys picked up on the slip about Jon dying although Tyrion derailed it.

Agreed. I was expecting it to be rushed for some more sexpostiion, and I was so glad they kept this episode more classy than normal.

Yeah this is going about as poorly as I feared it would. They so desperate to make it seem like Cersei can win that they're stretching logic to the breaking point. And Euron's plot armor is getting on my nerves most of all.

And this episode did what I thought wasn't even possible, actually make me kind of feel bad for the Sand Snakes. I mean not by good writing or anything, but more like the exclamation point on how the show just didn't care about them or know how to use them well (even Jessica Henwick has basically said as much).

He's exactly what the show needs, someone who doesn't give a ****.

Not too worried, the Dothraki are the backbone of her army, and they are untouched and legion. Cersei has to get victories early so that when she loses it feels like an earned win for Dany.

totally disagree. I thought the episode was great. the exchanges between Cersei and Ellaria (even while gagged) was great. the conversation between Dany and Jon was great. Jaime and Olenna ,John and Tyrion,Varys and Melisandre,Baelish and Sansa all these interactions were top notch and Emelia might have had her best performance yet imo.

Cersei is actually kind of being a better war leader than I'd have expected.

Well, Tyrion is advising Dany to make the same mistake the dumb kids make in every scary movie: split up. If Dany keeps sending bits of her forces away to be whittled away while Cersei cements her power, the taking over of Westeros is not going to be that easy.
