And I agree about seeing a single Spidey get out there with some of the female heroes of Marvel. I consider Sable somewhere between Black Cat and Ms. Marvel.

Er... from Coulson's corpse? I mean, there was a lot of blood on it since Loki stabbed him through the heart.

Except they were in his locker, as noted by Hill.

Yeah, so he got them, rubbed them on Coulson's bloody corpse, and used them to manipulate the Avengers.

That's what I got from it too, but there's room for some subterfuge.

Eh, I hope Coulson's actually dead. I guess that sounds cold, especially since I liked the character, but the movies have an opportunity to avoid turning death into a punchline or a revolving door. I hope they take it.

I agree and I kind of like the idea of Coulson providing the brain patterns for the Vision, although it diverges sharply from the comics.

I loved Coulson, but he worked best as giving the Avengers something to Avenge. RIP Phil Coulson.

Like, as soon as the Chitari showed up,they probably would've been the Avengers even without his death.

Yeah, I don't understand the need for Fury's "push". When they were at each others throats, they began to realize that Loki's staff was manipulating them. Once the invasion began, they would have got it together no matter what. They were on track to begin with.
My best guess is it all comes up again in Avengers 2, leading them to trust Fury and SHIELD even less. After what ever happens with Thanos, things will be clearly broken between the team and Fury/SHIELD leading the Avengers to set up on their own in the mansion. Then the backdrop of the 3rd movie is them vs. the main villain (Masters of Evil?) and their own government that doesn't trust them. By the end of the 3rd movie everything comes full circle and they're all one big happy family again. Trilogies usually build it up, then break it down, only to build it back up again.

Eh, whoever provides the Vision's brain patterns is ultimately irrelevant. Part of the point of the Vision is that he develops his own personality regardless of the brain patterns. Even when he was reprogrammed with Alex Lipton's brain patterns instead of Wonder Man's, his true personality eventually took over and he was the same as he was before the reprogramming. So Wonder Man, Alex Lipton, Phil Coulson, whoever; the Vision will ultimately be the Vision.

Though I think Coulson's voice would fit well as a base-sound of Vision's voice. That'd be a nice touch, especially with Coulson's doing voice work for Ultimate Spider-Man (if I'm thinking the right cartoon).

Plus Coulson's personality would fit in in just the most perfect way with Vision.

Also, I've been thinking about the post-credits scene. Who says he'll be the bad guy for Avengers 2? There's a Guardians of the Galaxy movie coming. |

Did not know that. That's cool. I don't think Thanos will be handled there, but that's definitely cool.
