Yes there is.

It is far more accurate to compare Moffat to Denny O Neil or Frank Miller.
Unless I am imagining something, wasn't Jack's first appearance in a Moffat written two parter? That makes he is the first writer to write Jack. He set the tone of the character from his very first appearance.

Rose, Jabe, Joan, River, Idris, and Clara say yes. Different Doctors, variety of species, but women nevertheless. This does not mean the Doctor isn't attracted to men, and who know what her new form will effect these things.

Deborah Watling.....who played Doctor Who companion "Victoria" under Patrick Troughton has passed away at age 69 http://www.mirror.co.uk/3am/celebrit...FB_mirror_main

I in the last month or so watched her in the WHO storyline THE ENEMY OF THE WORLD....so her image is fresh in my mind. Six weeks ago she was diagnosed with lung cancer. Gone too soon.

Okay, so Doctor Who's Comic Con panel is tomorrow. While I'm not a Doctor Who fan and don't really have a stake in the new doctor announcement, what are the odds that the panel potentially surprises everyone by having the new doctor show up at the con? Though I don't follow the show, I think that could be a nice surprise.

It could be a good way to earn some good will for those within the fan community that still can't quite grasp this change in Doctor.

Also, RIP Deborah Watling.

There was. Not major presence.

They did something like this actually. In David Tenant's run, he did a partial regeneration and stayed in his 10th Doctor form. He threw the excess regeneration energy into his severed hand that was in a capsule aboard the Tardis. It created a second 10th Doctor who was his own autonomous being, but I think the catch one he was also partly human after grabbing some of the companion Donna's DNA to complete his formation. I might be mis-remembering some of that.

So in this finale, you had 10th Doctor and another regenerated second 10th Doctor who had more human tendencies and emotions. He was also given to Rose Tyler as a consolation prize basically since the real Doctor obviously couldn't settle down with her.

don't know if this is true or bulls**t, but...

Bradley Walsh 'to be Doctor Who's next companion'

Bradley Walsh, host of The Chase, will reportedly be Doctor Who's next companion.

22 August 2017 • 6:22am Bradley Walsh, the former Coronation Street star and quiz-show host, will reportedly be Doctor Who's new companion.
Joining Jodie Whittaker, the show's first female Doctor, the 57-year-old will take the place of Pearl Mackie, who played Bill Potts, the companion to Peter Capaldi's Time Lord, the Daily Mirror reported.
Although the news has yet to be made official, Walsh has reportedly been informed of the decision.

“Bradley is super excited to be joining the cast of Doctor Who in such a key role," a source told the Mirror.
"It means that his schedule over the coming months will be jam-packed – so he won’t be able to continue with the full range of programmes he currently makes for ITV.
