They've pretty much driven themselves to a corner.
Agreed.

Well, I can definitely say that I now fully understand the concept of how some people can just go into believing a certain notion way before a given film is released and despite the fact that the film is different from what they had believed it to be, they still end up hating it due to the fact that they've been dreading it since its announcement.

I honestly wonder if that'll apply to me as well when this thing comes out.lol Honestly, I would hope that it is different from what I'm expecting and that it actually surprises me in a pleasant way.

I mean, just like how people couldn't get over the fact that SR was going to give Lois Lane a kid to deal with, some just still went into the film hoping that the actual film would prove them wrong, which of course it didn't in the end though.lol

I can't change the fact that Batman is going to be in the film, but I sure as hell hope that my worst fears aren't realized involving him.

Honestly, I wish someone would kick Batman's ass already. After 20 years of seeing Batman treated as some ****ing holy grail property from the DCAU, I want someone else to finally kick the living crap out of Batman's arrogant ass and take that reign from him.

lol; and because of that, he got jinxed by being taken out like a chew toy when Catwoman blasted the hell out of him and we didn't even get a close up of him after he was shot.lol

I mean would it be so wrong to actually shake things up and allow Superman to have one over Batman, not by his obvious strength, but just by his character and conviction?

I mean for someone that's supposed to be "human", Batman sure has more luck than any supernatural being has period.

honestly, if Batman tarnishes Superman in this film, I say kill off both Superman and Lois in future installments and just go on without him since I'm pretty sure that they could make a Justice league film without Superman, just as long as they have Batman since I doubt they'll think that people will give a **** about it.

Either way you're diminishing one of them by having one of them beat the crap out of the other. These are two alpha-males sharing a film. I'd hope it's more like Butch Cassiday and the Sundance Kid, in terms of their chemistry and working together, whilst not taking away from one another.

The chances of Snyder and goyer making this film and not having Superman come off as a lesser being than Batman are about the same chances as every male poster year calling the Twlight Franchise the best fantasy franchise in the world.

How would you feel is Chris Nolan himself was brought on broad to help. You know catch what you deem as plot holes and inconsistencies and character assassinations...Pretty good I'd imagine.

Funny enough that was precisely his role in the first film.
Internet is a superstitious and interesting place.

Yep. Also, I don't think he's a stickler for being faithful to the characters (Alfred leaving and Bruce shooting missles come to mind).

What we need is a COMICS expert consulting. Geoff Johns might not have been able to save Green Lantern, but I think he'd be useful here.

^ Lindeloff is more consistent than Goyer. Lindeloff wins

Im fine with a meetup between Bats and Supes early in their careers.

Their meeting can create development for both characters.

But I want the focus of MOS2 to be Clark as a person and Superman as a hero. Not a "split focus."
