I'm rewatching the animated World's Finest movie... it's amazing. I would be more than happy if Joker and Lex were the villains of this movie

This was suggested awhile ago, but they should just film every scene from the animated movie in real life.

Dini, Timm, and Burnett 4 lyfe

I don't think anything will ever capture the characters as much as the animated DC movies. They embrace the characters so well and aren't afraid to go deep into the mythology.

I look forward to DC's animated movies more than Marvel's live action. They're that good.

DC kicks Marvels ass in terms of animation and tv shows

Eh, Justice League: War was very disappointing. And it's the liftoff point for all DC animated movies in the future. If they're all going to be as shallow as War, I'm not very excited.

Movies, yes. But Marvel has more than held up its own with Spectacular Spider-Man and Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Too bad both shows have been replaced with far, far inferior jokes of shows.

I still think nothing Marvel does comes close to the Fox Kids 90's Marvel era and their shared universe. Good times.

Spiderman
X-Men
Fantastic Four
Iron Man
Hulk
Silver Surfer

So... No wacky rumours or "news" reports from Jett or Mayimbe/LR tonight? I'm off to bed then.

JL: War had the misfortune to be based on some very shallow material. The comic wasn't particularly good, so the fact that the movie isn't either is not really all that surprising. Now if they're really going forward with a

I agree. The comic arc was rather thin. Basically an issue and a half of character development and then 4 and a half issues of fighting parademons.

The movie improved upon that by adding a little more characterisation, but adding Shazam at the expense of Aquaman hurt it I thought.

Spoiler!!! Click to Read!:

Throne of Atlantis should be amazing though.

The only thing that bothers me is how he depicts Wonder Woman. Other than that I like him. I think Jim Lee is more of a problem.

What's wrong with Jim Lee?

He's drawn some of the best DC art of the last decade.

I like the way he draws faces, but he draws human bodies way too exaggerated. His WW is always in these porno poses.

His style looks phoned-in lately and a bit stiff/outdated. It doesn't feel like he elevates the writing the way that Ivan Reis' or Greg Capullo's art does.

Superman Unchained would've worked better with a different artist.

The greatest Superman Batman team up of all time. They got it perfect, just hoping the film can get close to this.
