Oh good, more complaints about likability.

Well, they spent an episode building Octavia up.

I'm wary of becoming attached to any character now after what happened to that other guy they did the same thing with.

Is this show any good? Keep seeing the promos with Arrow and the premise sounds solid…but it's on the CW, so naturally i'm skeptical.

How many things are actually amazing, though?

I don't think I've ever seen a tv show in which Ricky Whittle keeps a shirt on. It must be written in his contract that he takes his shirt off in everything.

Finally getting caught up watching the latest episode now. Bellamy really pisses me off. This guy is such an *******, he's gotten 300 people killed because he's so selfish and full of himself. If anyone needed to be spaced, it's that jerk.

He's not even the kind of character you love to hate. I just want him to die.

Further along, Bellamy needs to die something slower than spacing. And the (in)convienence of the storm interfering with the radio right as they need it to save Finn is so damned contrived and blatantly done.

For all the things that are awful about this show there are still high points. The adults aren't wretched and some of the kids are redeemable. The overall story is getting interesting even as the rest of the grounded children further screw everyone over with their selfish attitudes. Even teenagers shouldn't be this full of themselves. The rest can be eaten by two-headed deer for all I care.

If I can handle The Vampire Diaries teen drama ( especially first seasons ) do you think I can handle The 100's or it is worst than TVD ? ( worst = level equal or superior to Twilight for example ).
I've mostly read bad review about the show on IMDB but it's IMDB so I'd rather ask here.

There's some (very annoying) teen angst, but not nearly Twilight levels, and it is well-balanced (enough) by the adult scenes that have some great actors in it.

My opinion, of course.

You can totally handle The 100 if you can handle TVD

I'm in. I saw the first 4 ep and it's, some stupid stuff but it's ok ( why not send a probe, they don't monitor weather etc, radioactive storm anyone ?? ).
Actually, there is less drama teen than in TVD.
There is a lot of focus on the female lead ( Clark ? ) cleavage but I don't complain ( it is just comically obvious ).
I noticed few actors from Continuum, I guess it is filmed on the same location ( Vancouver ? )
The little girl on ep 4 had more guts than the whole camp.

The main female lead is Clark and she's one of the few teenagers that doesn't make me wish they'd be eaten by the deer.

Ellen Tigh, just as much a treacherous b**** as ever.

Was that Dichen Lachman I saw in the promo for next week?

Most CW shows are filmed in Vancouver so you see the same Canadian actors showing up The 100, Arrow, Smallville, ect.

Happy we're going to see more of the grounders now. Really interested to see what sort of society they have, how they survived etc.

Lots of spider webs in that bunker, give me mutant spiders.

Nice to see that, even if I do end up hating half the cast, the other half is still likable enough.
