The more I read about Doomsday Clock the more excited I get but also the more nervous I I am about it. The creative team is talented so there's hope.

YESSSS!!!! Space Riders is so phenomenal! They are currently publishing its sequel, Space Riders: Galaxy of Brutality. I think the last issue drops soon. So be on the look out for that trade in the future.

Tarantula is also really great. Rangel Jr./Ziritt are one of those perfect creative teams in comics.

Since it's an Elseworlds story, I'm trade waiting it. It's just seven issues.

Just got done with the Azrael/Catwoman arc where he assumed the worst about her but was desired her at the same time. I thought it was amusing too that she was clearly able to match him in every way during their encounters but man...:Az-Bats is a piece of work.

I don't know. It has a release date of March 13 2018 on Amazon; March 7 on DC's website.

I regret not getting those HCs when I had a chance a few years ago for a good price.

So, for those of you who haven't picked it up, Black Hammer is one of the best books on the shelf right now and you can read the first issue in full on i09. So check it out:

https://io9.gizmodo.com/read-black-h...her-1819650306

It's written by Jeff Lemire, and about a team of golden age superheroes who after defeating a cosmic super villian are mysteriously transported to a farm in a rural town which they cannot leave. They are forced to live mundane lives, hiding their super powers. Some of them have given up on trying to escape the situation, accepting their new lives. Others are highly frustrated by this new life and hellbent on discovering why they are there. It's essentially the JLA in a Twilight Zone episode and it is phenomenal! Which is to be expected since it's written by Jeff Lemire.

There is currently one trade available collecting the first story arc.

Has anybody ever read a comic story where the character bought life insurance in their civilian identity.

I was thinking if clark Kent died-Lois would need money from a life insurance policy for her and Jon. Even though lois has a job-in real life insurance would be bought.

Sounds stupid -i know- for a fictional character-but these writers look for story ideas after awhile.

We could meet clark's insurance agent-lol

Yeah, I was always kind of bummed that The Dark Knight Returns had such a big time gap that we missed Bruce getting a colonoscopy. Lol.
