I wonder if the JSA existed in the Snyderverse. You'd think Perry would say something like "Can you imagine how people would react if they knew there was someone out there like this? It'd be just like back in the 40's when there was that guy with the magical ring, the amazon woman, that guy with the hourglass costume and the really fast guy with the salad bowl on his head."

Snyder's work with costume design...The superman suit has little room for 'accessories', I can only imagine what's to come of that seasoned batsuit.

The style of watchmen plus a great script and cast = exactly what I want to see

Okay, so here's a thought...

How would some of you guys feel IF the next two films (BVS & JL) placed Superman at the forefront of the films, in the same way that X-Men does for Wolverine at times....with these two films acting as both Superman films and JL ones? I mean what if Snyder and Goyer came to a compromise with Warner Bros and tried to create a trilogy with Superman by using the JL characters so that they could still tell their superman stories and yet satisfy the studio's desire to bring out other heroes and do ensemble like films? MOS-JL could actually serve as a grand arc for how Superman eventually became the leader of Earth's heroes, while fulfilling what Jor-el had mentioned in MOS about Superman leading humanity to greater heights.

Any DC film that comes out after the first JL one could focus on the other heroes, with the second JL film focusing on everyone else.

For a 2016 BvS movie (and possibly a 2017 JL movie) that comes out before the first Flash/WW solo films... sure, having Superman as the main character wouldn't feel unnatural to me at all.

Well, we do know (for the time being) that Superman is the first public hero to have emerged from the shadows, let alone the first person that society has known about to exhibit superhuman powers.

Batman may have started his career earlier in this new DCU, but for reasons unknown, has chosen to remain in the shadows.

Unless they say that Dr. Fate (who's a member of the JSA) or someone with magical abilities was able to wipe the minds of every human being on the face of world from remembering who the JSA were, then I doubt that there was any superhero organization before Clark came about.

Yeah, that's what I'm hoping for as well...and it'd be a nice compromise imho at the moment...plus, it would somewhat feel original when compared to Marvel Studios' formula.

A JSA movie with the golden age heroes would have been nice.

Perhaps they're in Earth 2.

...I'm also wondering if the Hourman show in the works will be set in Earth 2 (at least for the CW-verse). It would be cool to see a Jay Garrick hop between that show and The Flash show.

I hope he has a real costume in it, and not just a hoodie or something.

^^Yes, of course. We already have too many 'hoods' in Arrow.

So, what did I miss over the last two days? Any confirmations or just more speculations?

Arrow is good enough (haven't watched season two, I'll have to wait for the DVD), but I want a real live action superhero show!

Gives me tights, capes and underpants, mad professors, talking gorillas and giant robots. I don't care if it's based on a comic book or something they made up for tv, just give me something silly and entertaining.

aside from Jennifer Garner saying that she's seen the Batsuit and can't wait to see Ben working on set as Batman......nothing else.

Kevin Smith just went into further detail about the picture in which he saw Affleck donning the batsuit.

I think this is what most people are expecting. But I'm not expecting anything after a Justice League film.

Assuming if that shot is going to be our first Official picture later on down the line, I'm not sure if I should be surprised or not from hearing that Wonder Woman wasn't in the picture...unless of course they took the shot before Gal was selected for the role.

And even if she was, maybe it's just to indicate that WW won't be as big of a character in this film as superman and batman will be.

On another note, out of all of the DC heroes that Superman could have first met in the DCU, are you guys happy that it's going to be Batman or would you guys have preferred him to meet some other hero before having encountered Batman?
