Is Batman going to be popping back up in Action? I was just rereading #12 and he pops a tracker on Clark.

So, the new K-Man is the wife beater Superman decked back in the 30s. I like that twist.

And Superman can fly in the annual (catching the falling crane and hovering in place while holding it), which takes place shortly after the Collector invaded, where Superman had to super-jump in order to get to his ship. You'd think Superman learning to fly would be a big moment but they've completely glossed over it.

Morrison said there was suppose to be a big story on it. I guess it got canceled after he chose to leave the book in order to finish his other stories.

I'm pretty sure the space-jump IS him learning to fly. He flies in issue 8 after he gets the key to the city.

Thats correct. He pretty much says as much to Batman.
Anyways AC 14 preview is out

http://www.maxim.com/comics/exclusiv...tion-comics-14

Great preview. Was a bit skeptical on this issue when I saw the Angels on the cover.I mean Superman vs Angels on Mars? Then again this is Morrison looks like he got a handle on the craziness.Love how Supes showed up in this issue-something about it screamed Fleschier.

What I reallly want to see in this issue is some resolution to AC 12 cliffhanger. The one where Clarks landlady was about to reveal info about the little man and the fifth dimension.I hope to God we get it here.

God, I would love if this issue was the New 52 introduction of Zauriel.

I'll give it a couple more issues before I judge, but so I far, I am completely and utterly flabbergasted on how much this book doesn't suck hardcore balls. It's like the writer of Teen Titans and the writer of Superman are two completely different people and then I look at the credits and lo and behold, it's the same guy.

How the hell is it that the guy who is writing the worst New 52 book by a mile making the biggest turnaround to one of DC's most directionless books?

To me the only flaw about Scott's TT books was the culling otherwise he's been doing great with it. The were a few problems with Superman#13 but otherwise it's a great read.

I think sometimes it's a matter of pairing the right person with the right project.

Who knows maybe he just has this one good story in him. Just saying.

Maybe TT's editor is causing the poor direction of that book...I dunno.

I do remember him saying he has more freedom with H'El On Earth than Teen Titans.

Well to me. While I can admit I have a few problems with the Scott Lobdell TT run(better and more fun than the last few years of Teen Titans run post OYL/Geoff Johns run) but almost/not as good as Young Justice and New Teen Titans run. There have been a few problems admittedly like dialogue (latest issue with Fabian Nicenza improved that) editor control( resulting in rushed storylines like the culling, and ultimately failed changes like Removing Superboy's history (partly because of Superman reboot), removing Teen Titan's history, etc) and other than that it has been a largely enjoyable title(but that's just and I have been more of a glass half full guy)

I've never picked up a Superman comic before but I'm definitely interested to start. Where should I begin, I.E best origin story or w/e? Man of Steel #1?

Birthright. If you're interested because of the movie, try Last Son, it's not an origin, but a good story with Zod from a run Goyer said inspired him.
