Far and beyond, the best thing about this film was Anne Hathaway (well, her and Wally Pfister's cinematography).
As weak as this story and script were compared to the previous two Batman films, Selina Kyle was a breath of fresh air. Anne had excellent screen presence and the long gaps without her were unbearable. I may have qualms with Jonathan Nolan about the script, but he was dead on when he stated that Anne stole the show. I still rank Julie Newmar as my favorite Catwoman of all time, but Anne is a very, very close second.
