Who is John Nolan? The Wayne boards guy who says "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree"? He is Nolan's uncle right? I know the air hostess who helps the Inception crew plug in is Nolan's cousin Miranda (John's daughter), and one of Leo's kid is Nolan's kid Magnus. Nepotism is strong with Nolan!

I am actually really interested who Nolan's going to pick as his cinematographer; I really hope he surprises us instead of going for the obvious choice (Deakins).

Also: Hooray for Anne!

Will this be a summer blockbuster or one of those films like Memento, Prestige, etc?

It's not even released in the summer. It's released in November, right in the middle of Oscar season.

You know, I would love to see Nolan work with Aaron Eckhart again. He's so damn underrated. I would love to see him and Jackman get a small role at least.

Better to waste one minute than 2 hours plus on this piece of **** movie.

I'll throw money at Jackman in a Nolan film again.

For someone who dislikes Nolan so much you sure do like to use his methods of repeated exposition to make your point.

Thankfully this is a Jonah Nolan joint!

Chris doesn't really write shooting scripts so much as he writes for novelization purposes...dialogue/exposition doesn't always translate all that great when said aloud.

Btw, I'm on the no JGL bandwagon...the brothers Nolan should get someone else to explain and eventually re-explain important/complex plot points throughout the movie

Well, Chris is doing some rewrites, so expect some exposition. And I wouldn't put Jonah above the exposition route. He did help write TDK/TDKR, after all.

but serious. without the mega exposition in Inception it wouldnt make that much money. it had to be 100% clear to everyone. and i agree with Nolan.

They can always write-in a character with severe memory loss in order to justify it all

"Anne Hathaway is scheduled to begin filming the indie SONG ONE in June, before shooting Christopher Nolan's INTERSTELLAR."

So I guess filming should start around September.

There is more than enough time between June and September to fit that in. Rom-coms and Indie flicks have very short filming schedules. Rachel Getting Married was filmed in less than 3 weeks.

You've already expressed you have no interest in this, so find another thread.

Really? Damn Hope I like this. I guess I liked Memento and Prestige and stuff, but I personally like Nolan's summer blockbusters far more.

I'm the opposite (I enjoy Nolan's smaller scale movies like Memento and my ultimate favorite The Prestige) but I don't think you have to worry, Rogue. Interstellar, to me, sounds like a summer blockbuster movie (like Inception). It's just being released during the Fall.

Oh Rogue, how can you say these things?

Jk I love the summer blockbusters too but I'd like Nolan to make a film on a smaller scale again at some point. And this movie is definitely not it.

Ah, that sounds cool - I like that! Even though I don't fully enjoy Nolan's smaller-scale movies, I think they're far more well-written and unique than his summer blockbusters - it's just that my attention-span is low.

Yeah, it'd be nice if he made a smaller-scale film once in a while. They're really more interesting in terms of writing and stuff - I think they have a higher quality of storytelling than Nolan's big stuff.
